Wide variety of sushi and Japanese tapas. The hamachi Kama was grilled to perfection- not too dry and still juicy! We got one of the sushi trays and a few sashimi sides, which was typical. The beef short rib udon soup was flavorful and abundant (they gave 3 pieces of ribs, but was on the saltier side. If you buy 2 rounds of house sake, the 3rd is free. They also gave the kids some French fries on the house which was nice of them! The seating is limited and we sat in a 4-6 person booth which felt kinda cramped. All in all, nice local spot serving decent Japanese cuisine!

I order the beef rib soba, when my order arrive, I already dont like the smell of my food. Ai thenk they added cumin in there, bit it is too strong. The soup is too plain, there is no beef flavor and the soba is too soft.

Finally opened!
Located where Shogun Sushi used to be…
Though it’s not AYCE, it is still reasonably priced.
They have a reasonable dine in special ($10/person + a lower menu item price)
The decor hasn’t changed.
Sushi is well proportioned of rice to fish ratio..
Menu is extensive but not overwhelming.
NOTE: They do have siesta hours (3PM – 5PM).

Nice restaurant. Food is good. The Menu and picture menu need to be redone it’s not pleasant on the eyes. The picture menu has no description of any items you have to ask what’s in the platter. The regular menu has really small print and is hard on the eyes. The food is good. Kani salad and miso soup is good. Sushi is fresh and made with good quality fish and ingredients. Service was friendly. Cozy restaurant. The chairs look old and need replacing. Seems like a good deal. I would recommend this place. Good for large groups very accommodating. Had a birthday party here I enjoyed coming here. Komorebi Full House is a good place to go.

Sushi here is great! There is a $10 initial charge when dining-in but the menu is discounted so these special rolls were $2 each . The fried cheese wontons were so stuffed! I came with a party of 9 and fit comfortably. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

It wasn’t my first time order food in here, but this time it was disgusting. The white rice box is mildew and the salmon is the worse taste I had ever eaten. Only the soup is normal

A very friendly Chinese-owned Japanese restaurant with kind staff members that speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English. They play a mixture of Chinese and English songs, which is refreshing and definitely enjoyable since I also speak the same language! The service was quick and good, as well as the ambiance being very comfortable and spacious.
Now on to the food. The sushi a la carte was fresh but very thinly sliced, which doesn’t give you enough of a bite to truly savor its freshness. So I hope in the future they would consider increasing the portion size of the fish to really give the sushi/sashimi pieces more of a bite! The bento box, however, was a bit disappointing unfortunately. First of all, the chicken katsu looks like it was just thrown in without any consideration of presentation. Second, the chicken katsu isn’t your typical panko-breaded katsu, it definitely has a more of a Taiwanese chicken vibe to it, where it was overly fried to enhance its crispiness, but at the cost of making the meat quite tough. The Siu mai was watery and didn’t really add much to the bento. However, one of its saving grace is the shrimp tempura, which was fried differently and was both very crispy and flavorful! So highly recommend the shrimp tempura, but not the chicken katsu.
Thank you for reading and good luck! (:

Hidden Gem! My favorite sushi place and also my niece’s now. We are hooked on how affordable and tasty it is. The salmon and beef lunch bento box comes with miso soup and california roll. For $1 more you can get it with shrimp tempura! All this for only $9.95! Tip: ask for soy sauce bc they don’t automatically give you with your order. They do provide Wasabi. The rolls are so good and yummy (see photos and order by letter and price). You get so much for your money. Highly recommend.

This place was quite nice, and in a way better than going for sushi buffet. The quality of the sushi seems to be alot better than that of the usual sushi buffets too, and the pricing is more worth it for the amount. They have this combo option where u pay $10 as a seating price that includes a salad and a soup. With the combo, u pay the cheaper price for all of the other items on the menu like rolls or appetizers. So the pricing for a sushi roll is just around the range of $1-$3, which isnt bad at all. And u just order accordingly since it isnt “unlimited” and this way, the chances of over ordering is slightly lower too (coming from personal experience with sushi buffets… ). Despite there being slightly less options in their menu compared to sushi buffet menus, there is still a good variety in rolls and appetizers to pick, which is just perfect.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit here and will most likely come again.
