We ordered the Peking duck, hamachi jalapeño, lobster dynamite, king crab lo mein, wagyu dumplings, chocolate cake, and mochi—everything was outstanding. The duck was phenomenal and absolutely lived up to the hype, while the hamachi was incredibly fresh. Our favorite dish of the night (besides the duck) was the wagyu dumplings—rich, perfectly cooked, and unforgettable.
An amazing experience all around and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back.
The food was delicious, and his friendly personality made the entire experience even better. You can tell he truly cares about his guests. We left happy, full, and feeling appreciated. Thank you, Robert, for such a wonderful experience !
Korean fried chicken – double fried but the inside didn’t seem as juicy as a Korean fried restaurant joint
Brussel sprouts- if you expect crispy like other steak restaurants this is not your side dish, very soggy in a way and flavor profile is basic as expected
Wagyu fried rice – Wagyu tasted like sirloin tips, you can opt out for a cheaper option of vegetable fried rice and possibly get the same satisfaction
Lobster dynamite – not sure how this is a popular app here, lack of lobster taste; you can mostly taste the crispy rice
Duck lettuce wraps – do not expect any crispy parts of the duck when ordering this dish, it will be the inside of the duck , and for this reason I would not order it again
Overall 3/5 in terms of food, but our server Mina was excellent and consistently checked at the right times to make sure our dining experience was amazing , would give her above 5/5 for her service
The food was good, but not worth the high prices. The duck was very good, the truffle noodles were amazing, and lots of the other dishes we had were good, but not quite worth the 5th star.
Desserts were very good, I recommend the Japanese cheesecake!
Family style: king crab garlic lo mein, Wagyu skirt steak (eat the onions, pepper and the sauce all together) , vegetable fried rice.
Not pictured: edamame and fortunes told adult drink ( must stir for maximum taste)
All the food was 12/10!!
My server was super attentive too!! Shout out to Douglas for the superb service.
The ambiance is electric yet refined. Lush textures, warm lighting, and tropical elegance set the tone for a space that’s both vibrant and intimate. Every corner feels alive — a perfect harmony of Miami’s pulse and Komodo’s signature style.
The cuisine embodies precision and creativity. Each dish is crafted with intention, balancing bold flavors, exquisite presentation, and a distinct Southeast Asian flair that feels both luxurious and approachable. Every plate tells a story — refined, daring, and memorable.
Service reflects the same attention to detail. Graceful, genuine, and perfectly in tune with the rhythm of the evening — it turns a great meal into a complete experience.
Komodo Miami is more than dining; it’s a fusion of culture, flavor, and atmosphere. A sanctuary of taste and style in the heart of Brickell — where Miami’s heat meets Komodo’s unmistakable sophistication.
Prices are reasonable based on what it is you’re getting. Shoutout to waiter, Douglas – he was great at being attentive and patient with our group!
