This place has been a go to for me since the earlier 2000s the oringnal wings have never changed and the burgers and dogs are still delicious. They now have Mexican tacos, tortas steak “asada” and pork “al pastor”, and the rice water “horchata” is awesome highly recommended.
As for the bad reviews, sometimes we can always picky and not want a good out come. If you have a problem im sure you could have got your money back, I didnt see that someone got refunded so you must have just ate it.

This place was a vibe. Nice mom and pop shop with insanely cheap prices. We got 6 tacos with sour cream added on all of em, a BLT, a side tamale, and a margarita for like $40…. Everything was delicious, Highly recommend.

Came in for a Hotdog and Fries combo for lunch. Found out they had Birria Tacos and tried that instead. Loved it. Its pricy but definitely worth it. I recommend you try it once. I got the combo with the conssume. It was 13$-14$ when I came in.

This place is a clean restaurant. That is first and foremost with me. Be young lady at the counter when we visited, should have a better attitude and bedside manner if you will. To be argumentative with the customer in these times, doesn’t make sense to me as a businessman. But perhaps I do things differently. That being said, the food is very good. The prices are reasonable not great, but you get a lot for your money. Including quality. Great place for a gyro. Which is what we go there for. Recommended. PS but expect to be challenged in some way at the counter by the young lady who is usually there. I hope she changes we like coming there.

This afternoon, my husband and I stopped into Hooters after a hard day of plumbing work. I am a bartender/server by trade but worked with my husband for the day. We didn’t get greeted for 10 minutes. After being seated, no service for another 10 minutes. It gets worse but I’ll spare the bad details of another restaurant to show the amazing details of Kombs. We walked in, greeted properly, ordered exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing (as always. Not my first time here) the service was amazing. The cashier went out of her way for us. The restaurant was clean. The cooks are great. If you’re on your lunch break or just want good food, hit up kombs.

I ordered a gyro special which comes with a fries and a drink. Price was average paid around $9.95 they serve Kronos which I prefer over Grecian delight. I was reading some of the reviews while I was waiting for my food. More than once I read customers having issues with the gyros being burnt. I don’t doubt what they were saying. My gyros was almost over cooked. I think the problem is more of a problem due to technique. they might be leaving the gyro too long on the burner which burns one side of the meat. I think they should just give it a nice dark color, then cut off the meat before it burns and put it on the skillet to cook it through, this should prevent it from burning on one side. Taste was good portion was decent sauce was okay. I would give them another try. Trust me I’ve had way worst around the area.

Good food with an extremely wide menu variety from burgers and Italian beef to tacos al pastor, gyros and everything in between including subs and hot dogs. Prices are good for what you get too. Definitely a mom and pop shop, not full service but counter service. Sometimes it’s hard to find a clean table but staff is always willing wipe one down for you.

Very sad, Kombs is only a memory now. New owner no more Gyros, which was one of the best I’ve had and I worked within walking distance of Greek town. No more burgers, no Philly cheese steak.
