Great place and very nice people, service is amazing, prices are moderate. Really enjoyed the show, they cut a huge 5 year old tuna fish, size of a human. It was as fresh as it gets. I liked mostly the ventresca part, they have a Japanese name for it that I dont recall – “toro” something. Anyway, I recommend this place, everything was great.

This sushi spot is delicious! I had the Butterfly Roll, which is shrimp tempura sushi and eel avocado sushi topped with calamari, and shaped into a butterfly. The atmosphere is nice, the waiters are respectful/friendly, and the sushi’s are tasty/affordable! I definitely will be coming back!

$100 is SUCH a good deal for how much food you get. came for the tuesday tuna carving and tapped out at 35ish pieces but they would’ve kept it coming, tuna is fresh and service is amazing. head chef was so friendly, smiley, and passionate about sushi. he let us customize pieces after the initial set was over which was so fun and nice!! also we got a complementary mango sorbet which was also so so nice
one note is i didn’t love all the toppings — it’s just some classics like truffle salt, ginger scallion, avo, lemon zest, and my first time having sriracha. was a bit too saucy overall for me but still great value overall

Delicious omakase sushi experience. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it. The sake was amazing! I highly recommend the Snowy Rice sake. Each fish had its own incredible flavor, and the combinations were so well thought out. The flavors were honestly unbelievable. Truly a special experience. If you love high-class, top-quality fish, this is a must-try.

A hidden gem in Brooklyn! The tuna carving at the beginning of the dinner was amazing to see. This was some of the best high quality tuna I’ve ever had at an Omakase. The best part is, you can eat as much as you want! The service was great, all the waiters were super kind and explained all the chef prepared tastings, which added to the experience. Would definitely come back in the future!

Eating at Koma was easily the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The highlight of the night was definitely the tuna cutting ceremony—it was such a cool and unique experience to watch the craft up close.
The food tasted amazing from start to finish. They served several different styles of tuna and provided various cuts, which really allowed us to appreciate the different textures and flavors of the fish. If you’re a fan of high-quality sushi and a great atmosphere, don’t miss out on this place!

I came across this place on Instagram as Brooklyn sensation, the place that really hard to get, but really worth to visit. And all of the sudden I have call from my friend who was trying to get reservation there for the last couple of months and get a shot notice of someone’s cancelation. Needless to say I couldn’t miss this opportunity. So this place is in Midwood Brooklyn, which is very unusual for hype places, nevertheless the place is not too big and have typical omakase setting with additional tables on the closed backyard. We got lucky to get on Monday Tuna day. They bring really huge tuna that has been caught this day and have the process of cutting it on display. Then the feast has began. Starting from the back and getting to the belly of the fish. Although it was j6st Tuna, each piece was unique, tasty and had a different flavor. For just $159 per person you will have unlimited edsmame, sake and tuna omakase. The full round was composed of 20 different pieces.
It was really great and tasty experience for really amazing price. I would love to get back and try other onakase that they offering

My son and I did the Tuna Carving 11-18-24 what an awesome experience we had, the Tuna weighted in at 220lb from Mexico, they showed off their knife skills and the carving technique. Each part of the tuna came to our table in sushi and sashimi style. We made 29 different pieces of fish… Oh so worth it… all the tuna you can eat, plus edamame beans soup and sake $125 plus tax and tip was just about $155… what a great amazing experience for all!!!!!!
