First time visiting, on our last day of Houston visit. But definitely going back when I return to Houston. It’s really awesome stuff. Love the kolache. Great service, very attentive staff, clean place perfect for breakfast.

Had never tries Kolaches. Wanted to try while we were in Texas. Found out about them shortly before closing time, made it by 1:50. The staff was super helpful and nice, AND after 1:30 everything is 1/2 price. Delicious treats!!

First time visiting, the woman was nice. I ordered bacon and cheese kolaches, brisket and an italian chicken. All were great, except the italian chicken. It tasted weird and was a bit nasty to me. The customer service was good though. I’m still wondering what was in the italian chicken; I got it because so many people raved about it in the reviews. The brisket could have been a little less dry, more sauce and maybe a little bit more seasoning.

Came in on 09/05, asked if the “BBQ brisket” kolache was all beef, and the guy working the counter rudely replied “obviously, what other brisket is there?” with a condescending attitude. I told him I just want to make sure its only beef (with no pork product). He continued by saying “tell me, what other briskets are there huh?” insinuating that I was being idiotic. He repetitively asked this question when I tried shrugging it off. I didn’t answer because I did not feel I was obligated to explain my health reasoning. It might sound like a weird question on my part, but pork brisket exists, or even beef brisket with pork additives. Although pork brisket is not as common, I am deadly allergic to all pork products so I dont expect to be pestered when I am double checking to make sure I don’t have an allergic reaction. I didn’t get his name, he wasnt wearing a name tag, but It wasn’t Nestor it was the other employee running the counter that morning. I continued by saying “its only 7 in the morning why do you have to be so rude and talk to me like that, why the attitude? I just asked a question.” He responded by saying “I didnt have any attitude and I wasn’t rude but if you saw it like that, sorry, I guess.” After I moved aside, he went on to ask the next customer if he has heard of any other brisket than beef, cause “that guy” (me) thinks there is (they both then proceeded to look at me). Completely unnecessary and petty. Terrible customer service, uncaring employees. The whole time it looked like he was also annoyed to be there. This experience also reflects management, maybe they don’t care about the the quality of workers they employ. Aparently other reviewerss agree too. I treated him with respect and to be talked to in this way makes me not want to give them my business. I regret spending my money here. I would advise finding another kolache factory. Never had any experience like this anywhere before.

First of all the customer service is horrible there !! Nestor took my order which he very incompetent as it is as I came back to pay he then states that there is no more philly kolache and I was confuse because it was there just a second ago . Not knowing when I turn around to get some juice the other cashier sold my kolache to another customer . Why did Nestor not communicate that I had brought the last two . Go make matters worse the cashier that sold it then came up and stated that she heard me order it but still gave it to another customer.. I will never be coming to this location again you lost a life long customer!!!

Not sure how it can be so difficult to reheat these for you. On the low microwave setting, the kolache ends up as cold as it started… Request them hotter and they punish you with a bag of kolaches that scald the flesh off the roof of your mouth.
