I have been here 2 times. I had never had one before and it was like a yummy cloud of savory goodness. Definitely will be going back. Jalapeno popper was great and biscuit and gravy kolache was great.

A place I didn’t know I needed till now! Stuffed yeast rolls is genius! My new go to spot for breakfast/lunch for sure. The BBQ Brisket and Chorizo and Egg kolaches were phenomenal. My first bite produced a childhood like smile. Highly recommend. Bread lovers will definitely appreciate this place. The food was very fulfilling and affordable. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been a customer here for 12+ years, but have not gone in the last couple of years due to one thing – tipping.
The food is delicious, and I would go regularly, except that I’m expected to tip 20% for someone reaching behind them, grabbing two kolaches, putting them in a box, and ringing it up. And then they give you a nasty look if you choose “no tip”.
Thanks, but no thanks. Pay your employees.
This is fast food – there wasn’t even any inside seating when I went last. It is ridiculous for me to pay the labor costs of employees, which is why I am giving 2 stars and not 5. And obviously not going there either until they change their guilt-tipping model.
Edit: this was at the Kolache Factory on Brentwood Blvd in St. Louis just north of Manchester Rd, but as I said it was a few years ago. I went back recently and the tip line is gone – there is a tip jar on the counter but that’s it. Problem solved, and I have increased to a 5 star review!

The OG Kolache shop in St Louis! The staff is as great as the food! There are so many recipes and they are always trying something new. The owner is a very nice lady that appears to lead her business by example. She is always there with a smile. I opened a door for a lady taking her order out and she gave me half off for something I do without even thinking. They see huge volume but my guy at the counter still knows my order. This place is a St Louis gem…a gem not affiliated with any other locations in St Louis with a nearly identical name.

This is an interesting place. The kolaches are fresh and they have a large variety. They also have a some simple cinnamon rolls for the more picky eater. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was well kept. The bathrooms were clean. They cater parties and offer to go options too. It was a nice quick meal.

Delicious perfectly portioned treats (both sweet & savory available) that pack a mean palate punch. My first visit and Eli was a real gem. He greeted me with a warm smile and provided details on all kolaches without meat (per my preference). Many to choose from for breakfast, lunch & dessert. Would have loved to sit however no seating available inside and only a couple tables outside.

These are a must try if you haven’t had them before!!! There are several flavors to pick from and each one is better than the next. I love stopping by for a quick bite to go. If you can’t decide ask the staff. They always have a good suggestion for me and they are super quick. I’m in and out in 5 minutes even with a line. I will warn you though, these thing are addicting…
