This was my first time trying this place, even though I live so close, so l figured it was about time. I decided on the lunch special-the KoKo sub. While fries weren’t included, I was pleasantly surprised to find they were only $1.95.
When I walked in, I was immediately impressed by how clean the place was. It’s not that other places aren’t clean, but this spot was exceptionally spotless. My total came to $12.66, comfortably under my $15 lunch budget.
The sub itself was large, made with thick, hearty bread. The quality and taste were impressive-very flavorful with a spicy kick from the jalapeños. They also offer other lunch specials, and l’ll definitely be coming back. Oh, and for the fry lovers out there-they have crinkle-cut fries!

Love this place! Koko Yami is my go to restaurant to get my quick fix on delicious Asian/American food. Sushi is always fresh! Hibachi is spot on! Vast selection of sides and the choice from sandwiches to wings to salads, all make this place very likeable: From its taste to portions and price, convenience in location to service is excellent! My compliments to the staff for always being efficient in making my orders correct every time❣️

So today I decided to try this establishment for the 2nd time. I decided to call my order in this time. Big mistake. I ordered chicken and shrimp with noodles and white rice and broccoli only. The employee asked how I would like it cooked. I asked “what cooked?” She said ” your steak” . I said no I said” chicken and shrimp with noodles, rice and broccoli only”. She said “oh ok, your total is 20.82 and it’ll be ready in 15 minutes “. I waited and arrived inside and checked my food.NO broccoli in site. She said I never told her that. I not only told her that but I said it twice when she got my meat wrong. No apology. Just saying “well you didn’t say that” . I asked for the manager and she gave me the broccoli. They should really teach the cashier some customer service etiquette. If you got one part of my order wrong over the phone then it’s possible that you didn’t hear “broccoli ” either . Do better!

Haven’t had a plate this full since the last time I was forcefed carne asada by my Peruvian friend’s mom.
The food is good, the teriyaki sauce is plentiful, but not over zealous, and the staff is quick, kind, and courteous.
This is easily the best bang for my buck that I’ve had at a hibachi restaurant. Not to mention the fact that they offer way more than just hibachi.
Give it a try; if you don’t like it, be better.

The food here is amazing! The noodles are probably the best noodles I have ever had. They were so tasty. I also got the filet mignon hibachi and chicken hibachi and both were so good. Also got the avocado bomb sushi roll which was fantastic as well. I’ll be coming back here a lot for sure!

They have a good lunch deal here. Definitely worth price. The sushi doesn’t taste as fresh as other places I’ve been. The chicken and rice was good as well as the eel. The tuna and salmon weren’t fresh. They are pretty skimp on the ginger pieces.
I don’t recommend the salmon lovers bowl. When I got there I asked for a poke bowl, the lady asked if I wanted the salmon lovers, I told her I was going to make my own. She appeared to be in a hurry so I just asked for the Salmon lovers. The kiosk makes you give a tip. I didn’t like the salmon lovers, I asked if there was an option to get a replacement. The lady just laughed said it was my choice. I guess so, I should have stuck to what I wanted.

Delicious. Crispy well seasoned vegetables. Protein is peppery and succulent. Staff was friendly. Had a hair in it, so one star off for that.
