I went recently to try out this new branch and Jesus gave us such an amazing experience. The fish was top quality, with so many unique flavors and toppings. The only thing better than the food was the service and hospitality Chef Jesus provides to the clients here. 10/10 would come again.

Sushi rice was cooked perfectly and the fish was fresh. Our favorite was the crab handroll. And my personal fave, the scallop foie gras.

I was in awe walking into the restaurant. It’s a very large open space with a simple but lively atmosphere. The waiters were very knowledgeable on the dishes and, very kind when asked about almost the whole menu. I ordered some Bluefin Chutoro sashimi, a Maguro crudo, BGB Sake hand roll, and some BGB Sake sashimi. The bluefin tuna was delicious all on its own but the crudo was an adventure. They add just a few ingredients that help complement and elevate the tuna. Every bite is an explosion of flavor! The Handroll was super crunch and a little warm. The contrast in temperature is like a party in your mouth, I dipped it in the ponzu sauce from my crudo. 10/10 would recommend. Finally I finished with some salmon sashimi and like everything else it a was mind melting. The salmon didn’t have a super strong fishy smell and was so buttery soft like the tuna. The tuna and salmon sashimi almost melt in your mouth. The experience was so good, I didn’t get pictures of everything. The atmosphere makes it so easy to set aside your phone and yap with a partner or friend while dining. I will for sure be coming back!!!!

Neat little spot in waterway. Our server was very nonchalant, but polite. Nonetheless he did his job and made sure our waters were refilled. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. It was the gentleman with the tattooed arm sleeve. The sashimi is absolutely smooth and beautiful and their hand rolls were definitely amazing. They make your food to order in front of you and wait until you finish your bites before making the next one. Though this does not justify the extremely high prices, other than that, lovely place.

FINALLY, a high standard sushi place in north Houston. My husband and I finally left the city for suburban living with our kids and sushi quality was what we were missing. Just like their sister restaurants, this place hits the target! Amazing flavors, perfectly seasoned, and high quality fish. If you love real sushi, this is it! My only hope is we get more exotic fish in the future. Thanks to Ricardo and the personable sushi chefs for taking care of us and my mother-in-law for her birthday!

By far the best sushi you’ll find in the Woodlands. We’ve been big fans of many restaurants in this ownership group, and we were thrilled to have a location up north. The handrolls are amazing with extra crispy nori and perfect flavor combinations. The crudos are always a favorite go-to. You won’t find better service or higher quality fish anywhere.

We LOVE Kokoro! They are truly the best in the area. Fresh fish, incredible drinks; everything is truly put together with so much thought and detail. All of the crudo’s are spectacular and the hand rolls are all delicious. We get the 4 hand roll option from the menu and it hits every time. One of our favorite date night spots.

The quality, freshness, and balance of flavors were on par with (and honestly better than) many high-end omakase experiences we’ve had.
The progression of dishes felt thoughtful and intentional, from bold flavors to delicate pieces, and nothing missed. You can tell the fish quality here is exceptional—the texture, cut, and seasoning were all on point. The style and execution are better than their sister restaurant, with noticeably superior fish quality and consistency.
