“We provide a doorway to the unknown, yet it is all so familiar” We started KOKONUT because we believe dessert provides an escape for people, where they are able to have a few moments of joy. It is in this space where people let down their guard and are open to what surrounds them. Our coconut pudding is made with all real coconut ingredients; it is dairy-free and gluten-free in nature. You may notice the absence of a long list of Ingredients that you don’t recognize on our label, as we prefer the more complex process of building texture and flavor without them. With a uniquely smooth texture and light body, it stands alone straight in a jar, or with flavors that meant to add a delight surprise to your day.

We first discovered Kokonut Costa Mesa while visiting the area for the first time — and instantly fell in love with their original Kokonut pudding! The flavors are so simple yet absolutely delicious, and the fact that it’s vegan-friendly makes it even better.
Back on the East Coast, we couldn’t find anything that even comes close, so I recently ordered some for my husband’s birthday. The owner went above and beyond to make sure the delivery arrived exactly when we were home — such a thoughtful and kind gesture!
This is truly one of the best desserts we’ve ever had — light, creamy, and full of natural flavor. I just wish they’d open a store on the East Coast! Until then, I hope more people discover this hidden gem in Costa Mesa and try all their amazing flavors.

I wouldn’t pay $11 for this. Maybe not even $5.
The coconut pudding is very light and too much fruits. Overall this has potential of doing great business, given how this is the only late night thing thats open in the vicinity but does not have the x factor to bring people back.

Yummy and unique style of yogurt!
It is a little difficult to locate the store, but I think it’s worth it.
Delicious coconut yogurt, friendly staff, and spacious parking space.
I highly recommend to come here with friends. You will have an enjoyable time together with endless stories.

Absolutely love this dessert! I have such a sensitive stomach to diary and gluten. It’s nice having a dairy free, gluten free dessert with fresh fruit and clean ingredients just around the corner. Even better… it’s in a kiosk, just pick up and go!

They made the instructions super clear and easy to follow based on the email I received after ordering online. Just gotta have a little patience and read thoroughly, because that was initially my problem hehe.

With its amusing art decor to the samples of their coconut pudding flavors, Kokonut offers friendly and personalized service. They even pack your desserts in a nice little bag. Don’t forget those yummy toasted coconut packs to sprinkle on any flavor, even coffee!

I went to this place with my coworker after a team dinner. This kitchen space produces great food. I used to come here for Ai Pono.
I have the same tip as others. Use the Ring doorbell on the sign out front. They will know to come out and greet you and take care of you.
My coworker got the Mixed Fruit Coconut Pudding and I got the R+T Coconut Pudding. It was really good! The coconut pudding was very smooth and the red bean and taro mixes well with the coconut. It comes with a small packet of toasted coconut that add that nice crunch for texture. My mistake was to expect a sugar bomb because that’s what most people do with their coconut flavors. The natural flavors are solid enough on their own.
I recommend hitting this place up.

I can’t say more great things about Kokonut!! I originally came across them when they were at the OC Night market last summer; I personally hate the taste of coconut so I was super shocked at how much I enjoyed their stuff.
My personal favorite is their Mango one second favorite is the coffee one ❤️

I’m a critical eater but the make of dessert is not only delicious but healthy if you look at the freshness of the real fruit and the low sugar content. Exactly what I needed without feeling guilty about the calories intake. I wish every unit was smaller so I could have multiple flavors at once because they are all beyond delicious. Definitely a hidden gem.
