Matt the owner is a sweetheart. Made my mom’s birthday brilliant. Everyone’s on top of service. Ahmet, Josh and others were amazing. And Rajah was an awesome bartender. All the drinks were super yummy.

We both ordered drinks (rum punch, and martini flight) drinks were great. Off to a great start, we shared the calamari app and both ordered a lobster dinner based off the amount of others we saw enjoying it. And that’s when everything went downhill. The calamari was chewy but had good flavor, everything in my pot (corn, potatoes, sausage, clams and mussels) wae so old and over cooked, and the juice at the bottom was flavorless, I was holding out hopes for the lobster…how do you kill a 2lb lobster as a beachside ocean front restaurant?? The claw meat was dry and almost gritty, the tail was stringy and tough and I felt like a dog chewing on a bone trying to chew through it. The last attempt to save face with the food, we tried the key lime pie. This will go down as one of the worst I have ever had. The crust was a mushy/gritty mess, I couldn’t even finish it. Service was extremely slow despite not being busy. Which seems on par, when the 20% tip is automaticly added no matter what effort is put fourth. Despite the food, the atmosphere was unbeatable and this evening will go down as a fun memory of “remember that trip to CT, when we found that amazing beach bar with the worlds worst lobster dinner ever!?”

Food was adequate, and tasty though portions were small. a bit disappointed that it seems like they nickel and dime you here. there’s a lovely portion of the beach out front where they have cabanas, but you need to pay in excess of a $100 to sit there on top of paying for food and drinks also you’re required to pay 20% ( but so it makes you wonder if says a staff actually has an incentive to work hard.) which is a big turn off. Outside setting hqs dirty sand, we were asked to move because of the bees.. Service was friendly but slow. Drinks were good, we were able to modify off to drink menu with no problem. It’s one of only 2 places on Sound View so I guess it tracks…. over all 3 stars

Josh was an excellent server, very friendly, efficient, and has a good sense of humor. The food was a little pricey but also delicious. We had shrimp cocktail and clam chowder and both were top-notch.

Kokomos is the absolute best! They have amazing specials! I got the 2 for 1 appetizers with the 3$ drafts or wines! My friend got the 3 course meal with a soup, salad and ribeye. Its only 20$! The service was amazing, they have great bartenders and the cook is quick! Everything came out perfectly! We will definitely be back! I urge everyone to check them out, the sunset is absolutely beautiful if youre there to catch it!

A slice of the Caribbean on the shoreline… This is a terrific place. Wonderful food… Terrific service… Marvelous selection of cool libations as well! We sat at a gorgeous waterfront table, shaded by an umbrella and had a delicious lunch, including a piña colada that could not be beat. Our server Josh was top-notch… Friendly and accommodating. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Highly recommended!

Josh & Jay are AMAZING! Josh was always around and Jayvmade awesome drinks! Didn’t have to wait for anything. Josh was kind and welcoming. We hope he is here next year when we visit for our yearly labor day week vacation!
