Finally, an outstanding restaurant offering excellent quality at a fair and well-balanced price point—neither cheap nor expensive, simply appropriate for the experience delivered.
The service was excellent, with special recognition to Jorge F., who provided attentive, professional, and genuinely warm service throughout the meal. The interior design is elegant and welcoming, with thoughtful details that make guests feel comfortable and well cared for.
The tamarind margarita was exceptional. For food, we ordered melted cheese with chorizo, guacamole, zucchini blossom quesadillas, the flank steak taco tray, and the chocolate brownie. Every dish was delicious, served at the proper temperature, and delivered with a well-paced and carefully executed service sequence.
The atmosphere was lively, with a fun and stylish crowd that added great energy to the space. Although the 18% service charge is included—which I personally don’t favor, even if it has become common—the overall experience was highly satisfying.
Our total was $211.68 for four people, which felt very reasonable given the quality of food, service, and ambiance. We will definitely return.

Koko was an absolute gem in Coconut Grove. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the service: warm, attentive, and genuinely top-tier, which made the entire experience even better. I absolutely love Koko. From the atmosphere to the food to the waitstaff, everything about this place is amazing. It’s truly authentic Mexican cuisine made with high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every dish. I’ve been there multiple times and honestly never get tired of the menu. there’s always something incredible to enjoy.
The drinks are just as incredible. My favorite is the Tamarindo one, which you can have with or without alcohol either way, it’s a must-try. Overall, it’s one of those places you keep coming back to and happily recommend.

Norman G was an excellent server at Koko. He was very knowledgeable about gluten-free allergies, which is honestly not common in Miami, and that made a huge difference for us. Everything he recommended was really good—especially the shrimp tacos, which were my favorite.
My boyfriend and I had a great time. The drinks were very good, the food overall was delicious, and the ambience made the experience even better. Koko is a very nice place, and Norman’s service truly stood out.
The only thing we had a tough time with was the chips and guacamole. The chips seemed a bit stale and too hard. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely come back.

We came all the way from Tampa to check out this spot from my Wife seeing it on TikTok for her birthday. Outside of the waiting period of waiting an hour from our reservations time. Once we were seated, the customers service from the staff inside was 10 out of 10. The food was amazing, we didn’t get to take pictures of everything as we ready to dive in the food. This is restaurant you should definitely try if you are in the area. Drinks were good as well!! Must close out with their desserts. They treated my wife to two desserts on the house which were both really good.

Koko was amazing! The atmosphere is very inviting including the ambiance and decor, which make it even more unique. Our server Gus was great! He was very knowledgeable with the menu and helped our table select each dish, all of which were amazing! Will definitely be going back to try more the menu that Gus highly recommended!
