I recently visited the Raleigh area very recently, and I’ve seen this place pop up every now and again when looking for a place to eat. I realized one day I was just a few minutes away, and decided to check it out. And man, the food was EXQUISITE! I had the Old Havana, which is essentially a ropa vieja plate, and my girl had the Cuban sandwich. Both items were very authentic, keeping to the original recipes, flavors, and presentations. Having Puerto Rican roots, this place hits home in all aspects. I definitely will recommend this to anyone in the area with zero hesitation. I’m definitely going back next time I am in the area.

Great food but mostly self service. A bit weird but THE FOOD, worth it. A great hidden gem in Durham North Carolina. Please check this place out. The flan could have been a bit more creamy and less like cheese cake. Other than that, I would definitely come back. Salud!!!

Koki is amazing! The chicharrones de pollo were perfectly crispy and seasoned, the arroz con habichuelas was rich and flavorful, and the maduros and yuca frita were spot on. It felt like I was back in Puerto Rico—authentic food, generous portions, and full of flavor. A must-try in Durham!

Andres with Offline – This is some of the best and authentic Puerto Rican food, I have had in the Triangle. Just the right amount of spice and flavor. The restaurant is a bit small. I wish we had arrived earlier for better seating. The wall murals are beautiful and the music added to the ambiance.

The chicken sandwich was pulled chicken it was really good & had lots of flavors. The Empanada was my disappointment… I asked for chicken & got beef, but the complaint is that the beef was more of a paste, instead of like ground beef. The texture almost felt like refried beans…… other than that, everything was good. The staff was also super friendly & made the experience more enjoyable. The atmosphere was also enjoying the painting & just little knickknacks representing puerto Rico was nice.

Angel with Offline – Love the food here. I’ve tried a few dishes but I used my offline membership to try something new and I was not disappointed! I love the empanadas and the Cuban sandwich.

Low key causal place with delicious authentic food! It’s so bright and colorful inside and they have so many food options. You order at the counter, find a table, and they bring the food. I loved the Old Havana (ropa vieja)!

I despise places that don’t have prices. Simply because I wanna make sure what I order is worth what they charge. Clearly this isn’t the case.

Customer service is great, bathroom is cleaned and kids meals are good portion. Adults meals have a whole pound of meat and barely any sides. The plátano maduro were good, beans weren’t bad but the rice was a disappointment, hard rice and not enough.

The to go containers too don’t even fit the bottoms. I say stay away or grab something quick but no restaurant style kind of environment.

Fast, huge, delicious and authentic. All the same ways I would describe my ex wife’s new boyfriend. If koki were a dude, he would definitely steal your girl! Go get some!

VERY happy to have an authentic Puerto Rican food spot in the triangle. The music, the bright colors.. it definitely give you a taste of the culture and flavor of the island. The food is spot on – I would strongly recommend the beef empanadas, mofongo, and the pernil plate! A must-try for sure!
