Seriously, I think I could eat this every day. I have to go back and try more, but every item we had was AMAZING!!! Beef Koja, lovely spices crunchy rice patties for buns. Kamikaze Fries – OMG. Approved!!! The Braised Pork bowl just really kept giving. So many wonderful flavors in one bowl… the coconut pork was really spectacular and made my tummy so happy for dinner, then I had everything together for breakfast… As I right this, I fantasize about my next visit. Currently take out only. EFF COVID!!!! I want to go eat there again right NOW!!

I’m super disappointed. I’m 7 months pregnant and had a sudden craving for Koja. Drove all the way to San Mateo and ordered a Short Rib bowl with a fried egg. Egg is over cooked. All but a few pieces of meat are completely inedible because they are nothing but hard sinew and cartilage. Then I find a hard metal shaving in the biggest piece of sinew as I’m trying to gnaw what little edible meat there is off of it. On top of everything there is several pieces of rotten lettuce in the salad mix. Never can trust this location again.

Tried their chicken katsu curry rice bowl, which was a new menu item as of last week. Pretty good, especially for cold days. Would be nice if they had a spicy option for some heat. Kamikaze fries were bomb, as usual.

Their premier dish is the Koja sandwiches which is like a burger but the bun is made of rice and the meat is bulgogi. So good! Also recommend a side of umami fries and strawberry-mango lemonade.

Really enjoyed my beef koja! It had a lot of flavor and was moist. The umami fries were also good, but I do wish they put a bit more topping. I would recommend getting one of the loaded fries bc my friend got regular fries with her combo and said they were kinda bland.

Great food with very lovely staff. We usually order Umami fries it comes with pork, and it’s delicious. Also, the koja pork and koja beef both so yummy.

Pretty reasonable servings for the price, and still tasted great. My boyfriend and I ordered the braised pork bowl and short rib bowl combos with the two different specialty fries they serve. It was quite tasty and very filling! The food came out quickly with minimal wait times.
