Koin Coffee is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. It does get a little busy in the mornings when the rush comes in, so there may be a few minutes before your drink is ready—not a long wait, but something to keep in mind. Even with the crowd, the staff handle everything smoothly and stay polite and helpful.

One thing that really stood out to me was how the team greeted some returning customers by name. It gives the place a warm, community feel that you don’t find everywhere. There’s plenty of seating for most needs, and the atmosphere stays calm. It never gets so loud that you can’t have a conversation or get some work done. They keep soft music playing in the background, which adds to the relaxed vibe.

This was my second visit, and I ended up staying a little longer this time around. It’s a cozy spot with a welcoming environment, and for me, it even hits a few high notes of spiritual awareness that make the experience feel meaningful.

Definitely worth multiple visits—Koin Coffee has a warmth that keeps you coming back.

Koin Coffee is hands down the BEST coffee spot in the Bay! I literally go almost every day because I can’t get enough. The coffee is absolutely delicious (and yes, they do the cute designs in your cup!), the food is always fresh and tasty, and the service? Amazing. The people here are genuinely kind and welcoming—it’s the kind of place that just brightens your day. Love coming here and will keep coming back! ☕✨

Mediocre, overpriced pastries ($7 for a stale danish). Cappuccino that tastes like hot milk (where’s the coffee?). Music over the speakers is a nice selection but way too loud. Seating is comfortable.

Won’t be coming back.

A quaint cafe near Kaiser Park Shadelands area. This place just various baked goods, sandwiches, and toast delectables. I grab a few items along with a chai latte. Service was friendly. A great place to come visit if you need to use the clinic. I believe they are also open on the weekends when there is a farmers market in the parking lot.

Out of towner stopped at the shop. Very nice and the person who served me (tall blond) was friendly and quickly took my order. Being a road warrior, I can honestly say this place was one of the few places I would recommend. Quiet, clean and friendly environment.

What a fun, neat little spot! They have light breakfast and pastries. Their coffee is AMAZING!! My husband said it’s “soothing to the soul,” and honestly, that’s a great way to explain it lol. The staff were very kind and helpful as well! Come visit

Upon entering I was greeted by every team member working and they were all a delight! The space is super clean and has different seating options, tables, comfy chairs sofa style. Very inviting. Super cute merch section too! I was super excited to try their dirty chai oat latte because they make their chai in house. Unfortunately I was thoroughly disappointed. The 16 oz tasted like an entire cup of oat milk. I couldn’t taste any chai spice or espresso. Maybe a different drink will be better. Next time I’ll just try an espresso and cortado to compare and see how those flavors are.

We love coming here a few times a week. Great atmosphere, tasty pastries, strong coffee and a fun area for the kiddos too. Plenty of parking and bonus on Saturdays for the Farmers Market. Love that they don’t have power outlets as it allows the crowd to circulate better and less all day people using it as their office. Very tough location but it works for them which makes it even better.

Ordered 2 espressos for dine-in. I was disappointed to watch the barista allow the first espresso to die on the bar while they prepared the second. The espresso shots were much too long/over-extracted and the flavor was meh. The atmosphere was open and inviting and most of the seats were occupied. The area was clean and well-maintained. Service was polite and professional. I didn’t order food. I read another review that stated pets are allowed inside of the cafe, for this reason I won’t be returning.
