Used to be decent place for Tumwater, last couple times I ordered “to go” it was not the same. The quality of food was noticeably worse. Today 10/23/25 I placed an order for spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls. By far they were the lowest quality, completely tasteless rolls, each piece was falling apart, and the presentation was less than satisfactory (thy were nothing but mush!) I’m not sure what happened but I will not be back.

I came here for the first time for lunch. I love sushi and was eager to try theirs. I ordered the special bento called the Rainier Box. It did not disappoint. The presentation was beautiful. The fish was really fresh. The flavors are outstanding. Very generous portions and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and helpful. I’m already planning my next trip back!

I’m very picky about sashimi, this was the best I’ve had so far in area. Super fresh, clean. And The service was amazing!!! We were a group of 5 and came in close to closing time starving… we were grateful they were so welcoming to serve us. They treated us so well, we all loved our food and it truly hit the spot. This is by far the one of our favorite Sushi places in the USA. We have been ordering from here at least once a month for the past 10+ years. The staff is always super friendly and the rolls are fairly priced. I’d say the only rival sushi we have had, when factoring in price for what you get, is a place in Washington DC – that’s how great this place is!!
