I would definitely recommend KOI to everyone. We asked for a booth at the beginning, they didn’t have one available, but as soon as one opened up they offered it to us first! It showed they cared where we were comfortable eating. Great service, delicious food! We had a wonderful server as well!

We came here today with a big group for my nephews birthday celebration. We did the hibachi and it was amazing! Bryan our Chef was the best! He had us all laughing and made sure we all had a great time, especially the kids. The food was fantastic, from the soup and salad to the fried rice, vegetables and shrimp that was all included with whatever meat you chose. I got the salmon and it was perfect! Everyone loved their choices. So much food we were stuffed! The whole staff was super friendly and wonderful! We can’t wait to come back! I’m excited to try the sushi next time as well. Best hibachi I’ve had in michigan. Our chef was awesome and very interactive with us. Our waitress (bkack haired lady) she didn’t ask us if we want chopsticks she barely checked on us. so our interaction with her was ok to say the least the first time I was there. But the second time the waitress we had was on point (brown hair lady) she asked if we wanted chopsticks lol she made sure we had everything we needed, she checked on us in a appropriate amount of times. So the grills area the tables were huge for hibachi at where if you had a table of 24 it literally will fix them with 2 hibachi grills the other side is chill and easy going feel. You can still order hibachi dinners you just cant watch the food be made infront of you.The food was so good and I believe they housemade their ginger and yum yum sauce.we tried a few appetizers and both times I have been there I got chicken hibachi . I recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. Oh and the prices are not expensive at all for the amount of food you get.

so grateful we had jess as a server & micheal as our chef. it was my friends birthday and he made it the best experience by spraying a saki gun into his mouth lol.
jess was a wonderful server; i asked her how long she’s worked there and she said she was pretty new but you would’ve never guessed. jess, this establishment is lucky to have you as a server. and micheal was very attentive & fun.
i ordered a roll and i sadly can’t remember the name, but i posted a photo. i ordered chicken habachi as well and it was sooo good… you have to try this place.
you will feel special and welcomed.

What to know: They have Hibachi grill seating where they cook in front of you, or you can sit at a regular booth, in the restaurant side, and order same stuff, just from kitchen. They have a full bar, a sushi bar, and a banquet room that will accommodate about 20 or so guests.

I was looking for a fun flavorful new restaurant to try and I came across koi in Trenton. Let me tell you a little bit about the amazingly delicious freaking dinner I had. I got the hibachi fillet and it was absolutely out of this world. It came with egg fried rice which was cooked spot on also a medley of fresh vegetables with a light delicious sauce. Although the flavors blended together amazingly and it was such an amazing dining experience! Pro tip, get yourself some of that mushroom soup because I licked the bowl clean!
