For being in Central Il, this sushi is ok. The atmosphere was cozy and well decorated. The service was fast and friendly. The one area that could be better was the food.
Listen, I’ve been to fantastic sushi restaurants in Chinatowns all over the world. This sushi is very mid. It could be better. I think the rice wasn’t as fresh as it could be. We had soup dumplings that were just awful. The presentation was also messy and bad.

A bit more pricey but really good sushi. Staff was extremely attentive and polite. Drinks were really good as well and everything was plated beautifully. The restaurant was cleanly and quaint. They even went out of their way to find something my 8 year old could eat even though she has a seseme allergy and we fed her ahead of time to avoid issues. Waitress insisted on finding out what wasn’t made with seseme so she could join us in eating there. Would definitely visit again.

Joe invited us to come eat at his restaurant, and we were more than impressed. The atmosphere, food, and service are all unmatched. The BEST crab rangoons and hibachi we’ve ever had. The wildflower drink was superb as well as the sushi. I can’t give this place enough stars! Super friendly staff and Joe is amazing. Definitely stop by if you’re in Peru.

Beyond satisfied! I’m so happy I found this gem! Incredibly inviting, attentive, and welcoming staff—fast and comfortable service. The miso soup, garden salad, and spicy tuna roll were all SO FRESH and delicious. Being from out of town, I was thrilled to find such an excellent spot with healthy food and friendly vibes. Honestly, I’m so happy I didn’t settle for the Mexican place by my hotel. (no shade, I love tacos too)

First of all the service was OUTSTANDING! Our server took care of us but also the other gentleman that was there kept checking on us and suggested his favorite item. The food was very tasty. We ate sushi rolls as well as hibachi. We were expecting the hibachi to be made in front of us like we are use to however it wasn’t. But don’t misunderstand me. It was still very good and flavorful being made in the kitchen. We ordered a lot of food because we just couldn’t decide what we wanted and we were not disappointed.

Food was very good! Our group of 4 collectively had appetizers, poke, hibachi, and sushi. The average we spent per person was high because of all we got but they are reasonable and portions are perfect! Crab Rangoon are the best we all have ever had!! Please don’t ever change them! Lol server was very kind and friendly. Also the passion fruit lemonade was refreshing! Will absolutely come back and this is over an hour away from where we live. Came here from being in the Starved Rock area.

We saw this place walking by and decided to go in and we’ll definitely be back!! It was the perfect date night and the food was delicious. The servers were fun and accomodating. We ordered a bunch of rolls, edamame, and the crab rangoons – everything was bomb! My favorites were the blue moon roll & the enterprise roll 🙂 I also got a yummy dragon fruit cocktail, which was dangerously good, and we loved the water across the street. We heard them doing fun songs for birthdays behind us too. All around a great night!

This is a hidden gem! I loved the sushi, tbh is the best sushi I’ve ever had. I really love the dinosaur one. The atmosphere is great too, feels super cozy and the service was superb. Very caring and friendly. Totally recommend this place. I’m so glad the restaurant I was planning to go originally was closed lol. The only thing is I wish they had more original cocktails and the ones we tried were good, but wish they were as good as the food.

A great sushi option for the LP area. I only got the spider roll, but thought it was pretty tasty! Prices are comparable to anywhere else serving a similar menu. Restaurant was very peaceful while I was there. Would like to go back and try Ramen or another option on the menu!
