Great bang for your buck! Everything we had was tasty and well made, but the sushi was especially fresh and came in big portions. Even the dessert was a hit. Highly recommend for quality sushi at a reasonable price!

Tried their vegetarian options – veggie popper and Yam Yam sushi’s along with miso soup! Loved all their dishes. Veggie popper has jalapeños, which gives it an interesting twist and wants to crave more! Would definitely add this place to must revisit places when back in Tahoe, to try other dishes in their vegetarian section including some new ones!

Definitely the BEST Japanese food in Tahoe!!!! Affordable yet everything is authentically good. This is worth the trip again. Big servings, delicious and fresh. Don’t ever miss dining here whenever you are by this area. They also have the all-you-can -eat Sushi for $39/head and $44 for dinner.

Surprisingly, it’s a great place, a little unassuming place in a back corner of a shopping center. We were very
Surprised, seems like a nice little family run place with great food and stellar tempura that was really light and had a great taste. A memorable, quick, high quality, authentic place that we will remember to come back and put it on the short list of good food in Tahoe

The food was excellent. We arrived around 5pm and were promptly seated. Our drinks order was asked for as we were sitting down. When the water came back within a couple of minutes, we were asked for our dinner order but needed a few more minutes. The food came out quickly and was all delicious and fairly priced, given the season and location.

Throughout our dining, a constant stream of people were turning up. It’s a very popular restaurant

By 5.50pm, we’d just about eaten everything and were swallowing the last mouthfuls when we were presented with the cheque without an offer of the dessert menu etc. The whole experience was very rushed and we consider ourselves quick diners as we have a little one to get to bed.

If you’re looking for good food, I can recommend it.

Warm, cozy restaurant with excellent sushi, unique and wide selection of rolls, and friendly chefs and servers. All you can eat is a deal you can’t miss, and worth waiting for! Salmon skin hand roll is my fave.

Stopped by here after riding the Incline Flume all day and man it really hits the spot!! We had the lunch specials (I had chicken teriyaki which was really good). I love all of this a lot. The kind of food I can eat every day. Service was great. Very much enjoyed eating here ❤️

Amazing sushi here, a lot of quantity and well priced. I’m vegetarian and found a lot of choices, my partner (who is not), also enjoyed her meal and commented that the cuts of fish given are very thick and fresh. The only thing is I feel like you would need to eat A LOT to beat the all you can eat price, both nights we were here we just went a la carte. Definitely a must go when we are back in Tahoe!

We had been wanting to re-visit an old favorite of ours in Lake Tahoe. Come to find when we looked it up that it had closed down.
On a good note, this place popped up with great feedback and in our village we decided to give it a try.
It is incline village and in a santa village strip mall. Very hidden as it is in the corner and it is the last establishment on the row. We had initially called in and asked for a reservation and we were told it is first come first serve. We arrived at 630 pm for our dinner and waited two minutes to be seated. We normally eat at the sushi bar as it is the most entertaining! So glad we did as we were greeted by Sushi Chef Hundo and a the “Maestro”! We knew we’re in good hands!
To our pleasant surprise, they offer two menus this evening, a la carte and all you can eat. We wanted to try a variety of bites as I like more oily fishes and the wife does not as much,so we decided to try the all you can eat. The portions were perfect and all of our bites were delicious! We couldn’t stop thanking our chef as he was quick and attentive and had a great smile! The restaurant filled up quickly and it was bustling for a Wednesday evening in the summer. That is always a good sign!
Thank you to all the team for the service and food, we are disappointed that Hiro Sushi closed down but we would have never found this corner pocket gem!
Keet it up!!
