This was my first time here, and wow, I’m impressed! It was quite busy when we got there, about 7:30 on a Friday evening. But that didn’t slow the service or food down at all. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Everyone loved their food. We had jalapeño poppers and crab rangoon as appetizers. The entrees we tried were Chicken Ramen, Pineapple Rice with Chicken and four different sushi rolls. Pricing was very reasonable for the level of food and service we got. This was my daughter’s birthday dinner. As we were being seated the hostess asked if there was a birthday; we didn’t have to tell anyone. The birthday girl was serenaded with drums, tambourines and singing in one of the most fun restaurant birthday celebrations I’ve seen. She was also given a beautiful pineapple arrangement. All in all, a very nice experience. We will return!

My fiancé and I just discovered this restaurant and are impressed! The habachi was some of the best around, it was a very large portion which came with sides as well. we couldn’t finish it all so the waiter boxed it up and was very informative with the best way to reheat it when we get home to keep it fresh tasting! The sushi was very good and super fresh with nice thick pieces of fish. We actually went back for lunch two days after trying it for the first time again because we were very impressed. The staff was also very friendly and inviting.

Visited for the first time and it was a great choice. Huge selection on the menu for sushi lovers. I ordered general tso chicken (i’m not a sushi lover). It was tasty. Perfect portions. Service was great. The atmosphere is chill. A great addition to the Plum community. Seen a lot of people come in for take out, which is always another great sign!

We were so excited to try this new spot but we left frustrated and disappointed. My sushi came out first then 10 mins later my husband’s Tom Young soup then 15 mins later we were checked on and I mentioned my sons chicken and broccoli. 8 mins later someone came over to check what he ordered again. This was the third time we were asked what he ordered. Then his food came out along with my husband’s meal. It was supposed to be with rice and they gave my sone noodles. My husband had beef mala and it literally look and tasted like generic beef and broccoli. The Tom Young soup wasn’t bad but my hubby makes it at home and its killer. I asked for to go containers and we waited 15 mins longer for that. They weren’t crazy busy either maybe 6 tables aside from ours. Felt disorganized and the food was super basic. I’d go back for the sushi but thats all.

Excited to have a new Asian steakhouse in the Plum/Monroeville area. The Hibachi Steak was excellent, and the Hibachi Chateaubriand was even better. The flavor of the latter was amazing, even if the cut of meat wasn’t the prettiest and the presentation overall was a bit lacking. The fried rice was tasty too, however it was a bit lacking in veggies (there were maybe 5 peas across our two portions of rice, and not much else).
The restaurant fills up quickly, and with limited seating and no real waiting area, it can feel crowded near the entrance. Service was on the slow side, so much so that we eventually had to flag our server down for boxes and the check.
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, and we’ll definitely be back. Hoping they work out these few quirks in the meantime, as this could easily be our favorite Asian restaurant in the area.

Koi has a complete fusion menu featuring dynamic sushi, hibachi, curry dishes, and much more. Our meal was delightfully presented, spectacularly seasoned and flavored, and all around delicious. Can’t wait to come back again!

We stopped in for the first time today to have lunch, Jimmy took care of us who was amazing.
We tried the crab rangoon, rainbow roll, shrimp ramen and salmon/shrimp hibachi. It was all prepared well and delicious. We’ll struggle to order next time as the menu is so broad and want to taste everything.

Wonderful atmosphere with good customer service. Very polite-full waiters and quick service. The food was so fresh and down right delicious! The Sushi platter was beautiful, steak hibachi is a must have. General Tso & the Pinapple Chicken Fried Rice were also wonderful. For appetizers – the Spring rolls and Edamame were great for starters. We witnessed a birthday being celebrated and it was so unique and so much fun! We will absolutely be coming back to try more on the menu!

We had koi for a late lunch today and it was amazing! We are so glad we finally have a restaurant like this in the plum area. We plan to be weekly customers and cannot wait to try the hibachi, boba, and pad thai next!
The sushi was perfect and the presentation was fun. My sesame chicken and Lomein was so good, perfectly crisp, no sketchy pieces of chicken and the lomein wasn’t greasy like it sometimes can be. We had hot and sour soup with our meals as well and it was the perfect balance, not too sour or too spicy. The service was incredible and the restaurant is very nice and clean.
Def recommend! I hope this restaurant is very successful and in our community for years to come.
