Though the service is terrible here and they charged us 18% fee even though it’s just a table for two. We waited for more than one hour before seated. Then no one came to serve until we call some one about ten minutes afterwards. Without saying a word, they seemed pretty busy when helped us order. I do think we deserve a better service for a required 18% fee.
The dumplings were good if not great. Nothing great or fancy, just good.
Portion size was good considering cost.
However, the service was a major let down.
Even to get water or cutlery, had to request servers multiple times. It was even difficult to clear any doubts about the menu.
Additionally there is a mandatory 18% service charge.
We luckily went early and managed to get a table without a wait, which I highly recommend doing if you can.
The Food: Everything we had was excellent. They don’t just do the standard dim sum; they also have a ton of fancy, banquet-style dishes available even at lunch. Our absolute favorite was the Fried Vermicelli with Seafood. The top layer of the noodles was perfectly crispy—such a great texture!
The Vibe & Service: The service is a bit on the slower side, but the staff is busy, so just be prepared to flag someone down if you need water or the check.
Pro Tip on Parking: The lot is a bit of a nightmare. Give yourself an extra 10 minutes just to find a spot, or try to time your visit for right when they open.
While we understand the staff was busy, the service felt rushed. Given this, the high mandatory service fee seemed unreasonable.
Ordered a lot of traditional dim sum that we will usually order at similar restaurants. The food is good but not that impressive. Some of the dishes are a bit too sweet for me.
The service is really efficient. And the portion size is big. For 2 people, 4 dishes are definitely enough.
Overall it is worth a visit.
