Been dining and taking out food from Koi Palace for years. It’s one of the most authentic Cantonese/ dim sum restaurants in the Bay area. When we bring out of town guests expecting good Canto food, we bring them here.

Delicious food for both dim sum and dinner. We had dinner here and the food was amazing. I loved the crab claws, the egg white over rice, the beef dish and the Peking Duck! Service was quick and efficient, food was amazing, I would highly recommend it. The prices are a bit on the expensive side but the quality of the food is top notch

No fuss busy spot for a pricy Dim Sum brunch. I came at around 1:30 PM on Sunday to skip the lines and we waited for about 5 minutes before getting in.

Unlike other reviewers, we thought service was good and very attentive! We liked all of the food, though a little salty in general. Also a little pricey but quality felt high. Good vibes – lots of happy family reunions happening all around us. Probably the cleanest Chinese restaurant I’ve been to.

All the dim sum classics are here. Usual busy service where you’ll have to be proactive flagging down the waiters. Tasty food

What an authentic Chinese restaurant! I think this place is really famous for local Chinese people for family dinners. Seafood fried rice and Mapo Tufu tastes amazing! All dishes are meant to be shared. A pit pricy but very worthy. We will come back to try other dishes too!

We made a reservation first before we came. Food was delicious and came out fast. It was little too noisy but that is normal for dim sum.

We opted for the Rainbow Sampler Shanghai Dumplings, which offered a unique variety of flavors in each dumpling. From Turmeric Skin Crab Roe to Paprika Skin Chicken, every dumpling was a delightful burst of taste.

They had special hours for MLK day. (opening at 10:30am) It was packed when we arrived at 11:15. Luckily we were a table for 2 so they could squeeze us in at the periphery of the dining room. Service =3. Dim Sum = 3 to 4.5 (depending on the dish). The filling was typically generous and shrimp-leaning (when it should have had scallop) and less artfully presented. Dining Room = 4 (pretty mural and nicely lighted, although I couldn’t figure out what the crazy green/red strip lighting was used to communicate along the wall booth seats) When exiting the restaurant I felt like I was transported to a food mall in Shanghai. Families with multiple generations were waiting to get into the restaurant and the parking lot was swarming with cars. Get here early.
