The dimsum was delicious. You can order from the pushcarts or paper menu. The food came out very fast.

Fantastic dim sum place where they still use carts!

The whole experience here is very welcoming and the staff are all super attentive to our needs, especially the manager! They are fast and efficient and always ensured our tea pot is filled.

We kind of expected the pricey food but we haven’t been here before so we wanted to try. The food was delicious. We ordered 7 dim sum and Thai noodles and paid more than $100 for 3 people. As other people have said here, automatic 18% service charge (even if there were only 3 of us), gratuity separate. WHAT??? Not coming back no matter how delicious the food is. There are other dim sum places that are just as good but with no auto service charge of 18%.

Best dim sum and service. Pricey and worth the cost. The mango puddings are the best. The shrimp rice noodles (ha cheng) here are the best I have ever tasted. The noodle is thin (a good thing) and filled with large, plump, fresh shrimp. The variety of dim sum is amazing. There are carts that go around the restaurant and you can order the items off the menu as well. Expect a long wait especially on the weekends.

We came here on recommendation from a co-worker. It’s located in a plaza. The place was fairly clean. Employee were efficient. Our host was attentive. It’s not your traditional dim sum rolling in a cart. Your given a menu and you order what you want. So your food is brought out to you fresh and hot. They have different variety of dim sum and offer daily specials. Food was fantastic. Coming back without the kids next time. lol

Food is over priced. For example we paid $28 for 8 pieces of one inch sized pork belly. It’s not a michelin restaurant. Service is below average. The servers looked annoyed when we ask for things. They were not around when we needed them. They brought wrong things not we asked for. The bill automatically included 18% of service charge and asked for extra tips.

Good place to get some Chinese, I would have liked some more chicken options …. we did couple of different dishes and some dumplings to see how different things in the menu line up by taste. All of them turned out pretty good, it’s a bit on the salty and oily side but you should expect that since it tastes good 🙂 , if you are calorie conscious, this might not be the spot for you. The space is a bit cramped up but they have a restaurant upstairs as well which is catered to bigger groups.

I’m no expert but Koi Palace feels like Hong Kong to me. If you’re in the mood for the best gourmet southern Chinese food, you can’t beat it.
