Fresh and tasty beef hot pot. Less greasy and I think it’s the best to come here during winter!

Not a super shiny spot from the outside but the hotpot is truly authentic and the meats are fresh!
The lobster hotpot base is absolutely delicious, must try!
The waitress are super nice and kept replacing our plates as the lobster pile start piling up lol The price is not cheap but definitely worth it.

Authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot, probably one of the best in North America. All meats were freshly cut and reasonably priced. We also ordered the lobster congee soupbase, which came with a chopped whole lobster, and it was heartwarming. Protip: Don’t order the spicy Sichuan hotpot here!! This is a Cantonese restaurant by its heart.

KOI provided an average hot pot experience. We went with two broth options, one being tomato based and the other was a kim chi broth. The menu had a variety of veggies, meats, and seafood options which we were all pleased to have so much variety. A standout off the menu I’d recommend was the shrimp paste, which puffed up into delicious shrimp balls after bouncing around in the hot broth for a little while. Beyond the shrimp paste, you’ll find most hot pot staples on the menu.
As I mentioned, KOI was an overall average experience. The broth was good, menu items to add to the hot pot were good, and the restaurant decor / vibe was ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way and recommend KOI for hot pot, but I’d also be fine returning at a different point in time.

T Red line can directly lead you there. Broth is good, food is fresh, service is awesome! They arranged the tables and plastic curtains very considerately and make every table sort of private and away from others, feeling safe. And we end up taking all the remaining food and broth to go!

It’s now my favorite hot pot place in Quincy. Very clean restaurant with great and friendly service. The food was prepared very fast and everything was tasty! Loved kimchi broth and beef tongue.

We were charged $17.95 per person for sauce. Crazy. Complained to the manager. She did not remove the charge. Prices were high for the portion size. Avoid.

The food and service were ok. Please note unlike other shabu this place charges for dipping sauce. They also up-charge the tip with a tax included if you use a credit card. The door has a sign all credit cards (include Amex) are accepted but we’re told they don’t accept it.
