Koh Nangkam Restaurant is dedicated to serve the local flavours of the south – in particular, the ways that the Hodsubs have traditionally been cooking. Most of the dishes served are often reminiscent of the southern flavours that Singaporeans can relate to and enjoy. Koh Nangkam has been in the food scene since 2007, originally located adjacent to North Bridge Road facing the myriad of dining choices available within the Sultan Mosque area.

Phad ped fried rice, Duo fish 2paxs meal steam koh nangkam with black pepper chicken and mixed veggie, mango salad, hatyai chicken, chicken pita,Tom yum soup red. Overall taste it’s OK
First time ever for me the order need to be pay first than the item will served.
The star of our meal—and truly the highlight of the entire experience—was the Trio Flavoured Seabass. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, this dish alone is worth the visit. The balance of sweet, sour, and spicy in the trio sauce was absolutely spot on, and every bite left us salivating and craving more. It genuinely transported us straight to Thailand with its authenticity.
We also tried their Thai Tom Yum Soup, which had a rich, tangy depth and a beautifully balanced spice level that warmed the soul. The stir-fried kangkong was fresh and garlicky, a great complement to the seafood-heavy meal. Their Thai milk teas were delicious too—especially the original red milk tea and the Thai bandung, which had a fragrant rosy sweetness without being overpowering.
Although we had originally made a reservation for the evening, we dropped in during the afternoon and were graciously accommodated with no issues. That said, I highly recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go for dinner, as it gets quite busy in the evenings.
Service was fast, the food came out piping hot, and the whole experience left us feeling satisfied and impressed. Konangkam is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a laid-back, welcoming environment.
Rao ja glap maa eek naae-naawn!
Decent food. I got the green curry with rice while my friends got red tom yum. However, the ice tea was really too sweet. It was just a cup of syrup loaded with ice. I couldn’t even take a sip.
Came here 4 years ago and I thought it was pretty good though. :/
The dishes came out one by one with quite a long wait between each, and the pacing felt slow even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Can’t imagine how long it would take if the place was full.
The fish had an oddly sweet taste that didn’t feel right for the dish. The tom yum soup and omelette were both overly salty, making them hard to enjoy. Even the rice had a strong smell, which suggested it might be low-quality. The only dish we liked was the kangkong belacan, which was actually quite tasty and well done.
On top of that, the restaurant itself looks tired and could really use a fresh coat of paint. Considering the steep prices, the overall experience just wasn’t worth it. Definitely the last visit.
