I swear to you this place is like walking into a diner in 1942 the minute you walk in… you totally forget the world going on outside of here. The gentlemen behind the bar is the owner and he can tell you stories of this restaurants inception…. I don’t even know what to say other than wow! The food WAS SERIOUSLY THE BEST I HAVE HAD IN THIS STATE!!! i ordered a steak cooked medium rare which i have never had a perfectly cooked medium rare steak in Wisconsin…. this place did it perfectly….. if you are anywhere close to this restaurant or you want to take somebody special on a first date bring them here! It’s a place that you will always want to come back to…. the owners of this place should be very proud…. thank you for a wonderful night

Very unique place, lots of old pictures, felt like stepping back in time. We had a group of 4, all meals were very good, only slight is we thought the food took quite awhile to come out.

Took my wife there for the Wednesday night special. Service was a little slow but the steak and lobster was fantastic worth the wait. Love the old time atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped in after another supper club was packed. Decor is definitely dated but so unique that you should still experience it. It’s like walking into an antique store, so eclectic. So many things to look at and explore. Bartender was super friendly. Drinks are definitely worth the price. Ordered a steak and it was perfectly delicious. Husband order the house special and almost licked his plate..lol. Stopped at the bar for an after dinner grasshopper which was served in a cute decorated wine glass.

First time here. The place is unique! The food was amazing. Had a fruit fly in my old fashioned and a chipped glass in one of the waters, both quickly fixed. We got to explore the second story and look up into the private tower. Would be worth the $10 to get seated up there.
Friendly service, reasonable costs, ample street parking, fast turn around on drinks and food.
This place is confirmed to be haunted. The Victorian oddities and architecture date back to the late 1800’s. I could feel a presence on the 2nd story, it didn’t seem threatening in any way.
The lights are strange, chain run everywhere, but works considering the ambiance. I’m guessing this place is a fire marshals worst nightmare haha.
You could easily feel the old vibe of the stage, the hotel, the bar… very cool experience! Everyone should experience this place. It’s a gem.

Went to dinner 6/28/25. Had never been here before, so wasn’t sure what to do. Like a Supper Club, you wait at the bar and you’ll be helped. I will say we waited for a good 5 minutes before anyone approached us. But luckily, Fred was huge smiles and took us to the table and took our drink orders. In total it was a party of 3. There’s a salad bar that was quite popular, but no one at my table indulged. It took a few more minutes to get the order in. Ended up going with the King Filet mignon and baked potato. There were 6 other tables not including us, and there was great music and lovely conversation. The inside of this place is oddly fascinating. The decor may look outdated, but honestly it’s great to browse everything. Service was a bit slow, so if you want to sit and dine right away, this is not a place for you. When we got the food, it was good. The table ordered 2 steaks and chicken Alfredo pasta. Raves on the pasta, was told it was very good. The steak in my opinion could use more seasoning BUT it was cooked beautifully! I ate every bite! Overall, I enjoyed my meal, even if service was slow- maybe they were short staffed? For me the atmosphere was pleasant, and Fred was quite a joy with his big smile as we left! I would dine again, and if you have time, I’d recommend it.

This restaurant is such an eclectic place, you can’t help but have you head on a swivel when inside. We’ve lived 4 blocks from this place for 8 years and just now visited for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner, and we were so pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered the baked French onion soup as a starter, which was quite good, and we both ordered the surf & turf for our entrees. He had the lobster and I the shrimp. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and my shrimp was to die for! Our server was good, but we wished he had told us about any specials prior to us ordering. Despite the minor bumps in our visit, we’ll still be back!

wait almost an hour and a half for food. didnt ask about drink refills. i ordered medium, got well done on my filet. i ordered loaded tater tots, got regular plain ones. my boyfriend said his fish was soggy, oil not hot enough. my dads and grandpas’ steak was also well done. they ordered medium rare. they also messed up my grandmas order ♀️ at least my moms food was good. didnt want to bring up these concerns because they were busy and i didnt want to deal with it. you can be short staffed and still take time on making the food right. if you rush to get it out because you dont want us to wait. i would say its better to have us waiting and get good food. i have worked as a server for years and if i see food is wrong i dont take it out. i make the chefs remake it.
