Fantastic food. Prices are high but everything on Kodiak is expensive so it tracks with the local norm and is fair priced for the area. Food is great and the sushi is hand made so the wait for your food may take a while but is well worth the wait. At the time of this writing, they are a bit under staffed so service was courteous but a bit absent due to the lack of wait staff.

Their seaweed salad was delicious! The service is also very fast and attentive. I wish they had more options for fish caught at the harbor since they are located on the harbor. I didn’t like that the egg-rolls were served with a store bought sweet and sour sauce.

I had the donburi pork cutlet and it was quite good. The restaurant is located by the river and the view is great. You can see bald eagles from the restaurant. The servers made sure our cups were never empty. I think this is one of the best place to eat in kodiak.

This is one of my favorite sushi places ever, and I make sure to visit whenever I go to Kodiak. Everything is so delicious, the cuts of fish are thick and well curated, and they have a way of making combinations for their sushi rolls that are unique and delicious. I seriously have to hold off ordering the entire menu!

I think their fry oil was not at the right temperature when they made the breaded items in the fisherman’s platter. Every thing was soggy. Super crab was good. They were super busy so pretty sure they didn’t let the fryer r e cover between orders.

I enjoy the Sushi at Hana, and the Miso Black Cod is awesome. The only thing I have had that disappointed was the Soba Noodles. I find sushi paired with a great view a very pleasant experience, and Kodiak Hana offers both.
