We visited the Koconut grove on a colleagues recommendation and we were not disappointed. We reserved a table ahead of time (i would highly recommend reserving a table). On arrival, we were shown to our table and seated immediately by a very nice member of staff. We found the team to be very warm, nice and friendly. The menu is very varied with lots of options.
All our meals were cooked to perfection. We found them very flavor-full and the portions sizes were very generous.
All in all, we had an amazing time here and i would highly recommend visiting for a nice south indian meal when you are in Chester

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in a while! We had the potato dosa, the fish biriyani and also poppadoms, lentil soup and chilli paneer to start. Absolutely delicious and excellent sauces to match the dosa and biriyani! I’ll be returning probably for my birthday.
Friendly and fast service too.

Realy loved the food we had. Hands down the best lamb biriani i have ever had (100% serious). Nice relaxing atmosphere, friendly and nice staff. Despite being very busy we didn’t feel rushed or cramped and the noise level was good. Would strongly recomend!

I had the Chicken Dosa. I’ve really wanted to eat a Dosa for a long time, so I was very pleased it was on the menu. The staff were accomadating. There were lots of Indian families coming to eat there. I took my Dad, my husband and my son. Everyone was really impressed and had a nice time. It was very reasonably priced.

Visited Sunday evening. This restaurant is a 4 minute walk from Hotel Indigo.

This restaurant was outstanding. The food was the best I have ever had. I had the Hyderabadi lamb which was succulent and full of flavour.

Also tried mango lassi best ever.

For dessert we had halva and it was absolutely delicious.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with menu choice.

We will most definitely return.

Best Indian restaurant in Chester and best for value for money. Be sure to give it a try.

I had to wait almost 50 minutes to get my food, which was frustrating. The Chicken Manchurian was disappointing — not spicy or flavorful, even though I specifically asked for it to be spicy. The garlic naan was small and definitely not worth the £3 price. On a positive note, the vegetable biryani was tasty and came in good portions. Overall, the long wait and lackluster dishes made the experience underwhelming.

We visited on new years eve and had a really good meal here. We hadn’t been here before and really enjoyed the different types of curry on offer. It’s south Asian so different to the usual currys. There was lots of choices and I was really happy with my meal. The staff were attentive and we felt very welcome. In the end we couldn’t finish our food so took the rest home to enjoy for breakfast. We will definitely return.

A complete waste of time and money. The food was clearly frozen and reheated, including the masala, which tasted generic, raw, and poorly prepared. Nothing about the meal resembled authentic Indian or Kerala cuisine — only the menu made that claim. It felt like mass-produced food served with zero care or skill. I strongly advise avoiding this place if you value quality or authenticity.

So mine and my mrs experience here was delightful! Lovely staff who made us feel so welcome… food was delicious and hot.
Lamb Kababs was hot and spicy just the way I like them!
Curry’s are rich and full of spice which is exactly what I wanted from a South Indian restaurant. Overall our experience was very joyful. If I had to right a bad review it would simply be that the chips that we got with the curry’s are chunky chips and I personally don’t like chunky chips. But the curry was that nice I ate them all anyway.
Would definitely come again.
