Beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown powell. Very big live-edge wood bar with an impressive selection of draft beer, wine and spirits. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with lots of different comfortable corners and every kind of seating imaginable.

The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly, and while the dining room is counter service, it’s an elevated experience where things are brought to you and everyone is more than willing to help cater to your needs.

The food is the real 5 star winner with a massive menu including everything from dolmathes, to giant burgers, to pastas, lamb chops, and more. Ingredients are always fresh and the portions are crazy for the prices. A great place with great people all around.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience for the first visit. The staff at the front desk were more interested in their phones than taking care of customers. There was no welcome, thanks for coming in, or hello, just “what can I get you”. The traditional pasticoo was very dry, bland. and had little sauce. It was so dry, I had to take a drink between bites. Basic expectations weren’t met and there weren’t any “that was worth it” moments.

A little pricey, but not worse than other similar restaurants. Everything I have ever had there tasted very good. Normally, I don’t get steaks at places like this, but I have really liked their strip steak.

The gyro and vegetarian gyro were both very good. Great sauce and fresh toppings on both. I wanted to order a Greek salad, but the menu states that it comes olives that have pits. In all the Greek or any other restaurants I have been in, Ive never seen such a ridiculous thing. Totally avoid the fries. Every Greek establishment I’ve ever been in has large, fresh French fries with Greek seasoning. What we were served was very poor quality straight out of the freezer fries. We also ordered a side of falafel that came with a pasty, strange tasting hummus. Definitely avoid this. The falafel was dry and flavorless. I would probably go back for a gyro and maybe try something else, but this restaurant has a lot to improve in my opinion.

This is my second visit but first to this location. There was no wait on a Saturday afternoon, customer service was top notch and the environment was very pleasant.

Most importantly, the food was great! They accommodate to food allergies and corrected one of our meals with an issue fast and without complaints.

I wanted to love this place, and I was craving some good lamb chops, I received a coupon in the mail for this place, so I thought I would try it. I looked at the menu online and the Lamb chops were price with MP ( Market Price) so I called to get it and they said $28 that’s not too bad so I decided to head over. If you have never been here before, there are a few things in this review that will help. First you don’t sit and be waited on, you order your food and then go to your table. The disadvantage of this is refilling your own drink at the coke freestyle machine plus its just not the traditional style of dining, but sadly, their prices reflex a mid tier sit-down dining experience. The wait was short, and the front-line employees were great. I ordered my salad that came with my lambchops without olives or peperoncinis. I ordered Saganaki (delicious flaming cheese), the lambchops, and their Termisu. The flaming cheese was yummy and a great small show. See pics attached. My table had food all over the floor and was right next to the fireplace. I felt a little close. My meal that was delivered was the things I ordered plus a huge Greek salad. I asked why the salad, and he said idk it was on the check, but your chops come with one he immediately adjusted the check, which I appreciated. The salad with the chops had olives and peperonchinis, so that request was missed. I have had some of the most amazing Lambchops on a cruise once, and these were just ok. One of them did not even have the bone part you hold. The rice had like an old or sour aftertaste, and the Termisu was really just ok. The lady fingers were not soaked enough, and everything except the cheese was just lacking general flavor sadly. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff were great. While I was sitting there, another customer was carrying her fries and said they came out cold if they could be refried. I’m not surprised my rice was kinda cold, too, but I didn’t eat any of it because of the weird aftertaste. I may or may not return the Gyros may be better, but to spend 50.00, I definitely expect more from a restaurant. Final tip I saw if you sit at the bar, your water is refilled, and you get a glass, not a plastic throw-away cup. If this review helped you at all, please mark as helpful and follow me for more around the world. Thanks for reading.
