Quiet spot for an early dinner with great service. The quality of the fish for their sushi is good, pretty fresh, and their knife work is precise. Far from my favorite in town but I would eat here again and not be sad.

First time coming here and we will only come here for hibachi and sushi from now on! Service was outstanding and fast! Wife had chicken hibachi which was the most flavorful and moist! I had the spicy crab and spicy shrimp rolls which were delicious and well rolled, and zero pieces came apart!! They also have hand sanitizer on every table and the tables, floor, and restrooms were clean! 10/10!!!

I really enjoyed the sushi dinner for two. Staff were excellent. I am not the only one who likes it considering the traffic while I was there on a Thursday at 4:30. Sesame balls were a nice temperature and tasty. Highly recommend.

Kobe Sushi Hibachi Express is the BEST!
Finding good sushi here in Alabama has been a defeating experience. We have tried every sushi restaurant that has been recommended to us since moving here in 2020, and not one of them could compare to the restaurants we had back home.
That is, until we found Kobe!
Kobe Sushi Hibachi Express is the first sushi restaurant we’ve visited here that is equivalent in both quality and excellence as what we experienced at sushi restaurants back home in Colorado. The presentation of the sushi was stunning, the taste was incredible, and the staff was exceptional.
I am so happy that we found this place!

This restaurant is a nice little hole in the wall.
Service was fantastic. We got seated immediately.
They have a fantastic selection when it comes to hibachi and sushi, especially their specialty rolls. I was very impressed.
They also have cooked sushi options which was a nice bonus for the Mrs who won’t eat raw fish haha. Portions are generous.
Shoutout to the Air force vet’s kids who dinged my car mirror. Don’t park close to the front.

Ok where do I start.. I know we’re in the south but come on, this is not Asian food, Popeye makes better Katsu chicken then this..
Coming from the PNW, Asian food was top rated.
This chicken Katsu was soggy and the rice tasted like butter.. and the Katsu sauce was teriyaki, it was watered down, Katsu sauce is thick and is the Asain version of Ketchup
The soup smelled and tasted like feet after a 48 hour shift, no joke.
The Yakisoba was soggy, the noodles had no taste and the veggies were plastic at best..
If this place is rated at a 4.7,, people need to adventure outside of Alabama to experience what real Asian food tastes like..

Had a great first time here! We ordered two special rolls, hughes and lion mana. Both were delicious! Our waitress and other employees were friendly, and all around good vibes from the place.

Haven’t been to all the sushi joints around town quite yet but I don’t really have to after coming here. Doesn’t get much better than Kobe. It’s fresh, vibrant, and delicious! Always excited when my wife claims she wants sushi for dinner because it means we are going here.
