While I do love the food, my experience with the service is less than stellar, every single time. I’ve waited upwards of 1hr & 30min for a Togo order. When I ordered the restaurant wasn’t very full. Only about maybe 3 tables? Was told it would be about 30min, okay. That’s fine. Then 45min comes along, and now suddenly they’re starting to have more people coming in. By the time I got my order, it had been 90 minutes, and every single person who had come in AFTER me, had already gotten their food. It’s like this every time, they’ll take your to go order, but then you’ll sit there until everyone in the restaurant has their food, even if you were there and ordered first. Definitely not worth the wait, or the rude and inattentive customer service.

My husband and I took a small vacation up to Minocqua and decided we wanted to try something new. We stopped at Kobe Sushi on the strip and we were not disappointed at all.
When you walk in you have to order your food to go. They told us we would be waiting about 15-20 minutes for our food. The only downside is that you can’t eat there, so we ended up sitting outside on a picnic table.
My husband ordered the teppanyaki & sogo roll.
I ordered the Wisconsin roll and Kyoto roll. We were SO happy with what we ordered. It was delicious and we will 100% be coming back. Best sushi I have had yet.

The prices are decent and the sushi is fairly good. The service however is slow in which I usually call ahead and order, telling them that I will be dining in. Make sure you call ahead of time to check if they are open. Their hours aren’t always consistent!

Slow service, the employee did not appear to be prioritizing well and spent quite a bit of time chatting with one set of customers while we waited to even get water or have a drink order take , and I received the wrong roll (crab instead of eel). The food was ok. Lots of room for waiting for to-go orders. Probably not able to easily accommodate groups of 5+.
