My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner while we are traveling to Glacier. I ordered the Volcano sushi roll and a spicy tuna, and my husband got the filet mignon. Unfortunately they brought my husband’s food out 10 minutes before they brought mine out. There was no apology about the wait. The sushi was very beautiful and tasty, hence the 3 stars, but my husband’s filet mignon was medium well/well done (unevenly cooked) when he asked for it medium. Overall, the service was very mediocre and the food was okay. Honestly wouldn’t recommend it for the price.

It is a great experience. The scallops were delicious, tender and seasoned perfectly. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the octopus was very tough,as was the slices of squid. The service was top notch and the Teppen chef was outstanding. If you’re looking for a good Japanese restaurant in Kalispell, Montana this is the one to go to. I will certainly go back. I dined in but also ordered a to go dinner. I was there at lunchtime. I also had a Cloud Sake.

Portions were ridiculously small for everything. My glass of Cabernet was only filled about halfway. I added a fork to the photos for scale. My vegetable tempura was cooked well, but I pretty much got one of each type of veggie and no more. The tuna roll was smaller than the dinky ones you can buy at the grocery store. The grilled shrimp entree was good, but nothing special. The side salad was watery and minimal at best. We left hungry.

The best sushi in my opinion! I prefer this place over Wasabi any day. Food is always so fresh and tasty! The chefs are fast and the service is always good! If I’m eating sushi I’m coming here. Price point is always fantastic on everything. Definitely recommend.

Not worth the money! I ordered carry out & had door dash deliver it. I ordered the Milet and Shrimp and for a dish that is almost $40, I expected more food. The dish was bland and altogether disappointing. Maybe their dine in experience is better but if you are looking to eat at home, I wouldn’t waste your money.

The shrimp fried rice was really good! I think it’s made by a teppanyaki chef. Sashimi was pretty fresh and we liked the thick cut of each slice. Our waitress Oksana treated us well ☺️

Most restaurants ask you where you want to sit, this restaurant does not. On our 30th anniversary we decided to go here, we were seated on the side of the grill when we really wanted to sit in front of the grill, ( as it was available), for we enjoy watching them cook, that’s the reason we go there. It’s supposed to be about making the customer happy, not make it easier for your selves, and whatever happened to first come first Serve. You’re supposed to go out of your way for the customer, that’s what makes a good business. That being said we can find just as good of food somewhere else for a lot less money and be asked where we would like to sit.

I love this restaurant. The chef cooks in front of you much like other Japanese stake houses I ha e eaten out. Perfect for kids and couples. I’ll be revisiting for my son’s birthday, they have sushi and he loves it.
