Cute little Japanese spot that had nice looking sushi and tasty cooked options too..
I had the chicken and beef combo. Portions were good, some cuts if chicken could have been better…but overall very enjoyable.

Dinner was a complete disaster. Ok so we just ate at Kobi restaurant in Butte. I ordered filet mignon and mahi mami. My wife ordered NY steak and shrimp. Waitress came back and told me that they were out of mahi-mahi so I settled for filet mignon and scallops. My wife got her plate and it had a like 1 inch by 1 inch barcode sticker in her meal. We complained and showed the waitress the barcode sticker in her meal. the server asked if she would like another meal Instead of the one with the barcode sticker in it? My wife requested another meal. Then they served her meal with scallops instead of shrimp. The food was good and the server was nice. but overall disaster. $90 dinner tab the never offered any compensation or anything. They still charged me for mahi mahi which I never got. Prices on receipt do not match prices online.

Great Customer Service and really good food!!! The place is clean and functional as well. A little on the spendy side for Butte, MT. However, it is super fresh and proportionate to what you spend on a meal. Great variety and definitely a super value. ❤

Instead of a regular plate, they brought me a plastic container 25% filled with soup. And when I said it looks like someone didn’t finish it, instead of agreeing that it’s inappropriate service I received only objections. ‘Good luck’ with your business

Very nice, I had the Golden Dragon sushi roll and a Spider roll, both were delicious and the kitchen did a great job, even the presentation/plating was nice… I’m not the kind to take or post pictures of my food, but I really should have, it was great. Our server was friendly, fast, and efficient, and this is a 2-story business, working both floors! The prices were not bad at all either for such delicious and fresh food. I’ll definitely be stopping by often and working my way through the menu!
Update 10/15/2023: Still awesome, had the Golden Dragon again, also had the Crazy Dog, and Spider roll, all were great, I think the Golden Dragon is my favorite, but it’s close between that and the Crazy dog, they are both just so very good. The spider roll is also great, but I have had so many variations from so many places on this roll that it’s kind of just an “old reliable” to me, but they do an excellent job of it here.
Also had the teppanyaki/hibachi grill on my visit before 10/15 but after my original review, the food was good, and our chef was great, I am terrible with names, but he had mentioned that he was a drummer too, very nice guy, excellent job with the preparation and food, and very entertaining… hibachi style is not usually my thing, but I enjoyed it very much here.
It is pricier than average for a dinner in Butte, but for the good quality it is very affordable. Sushi usually runs pricier than standard American fare, so it was well worth it.
Really, the staff, including wait staff, begind the counter chefs, hibachi chefs, everyone does a great job. The food is awesome, and it is very affordable for sushi. I will happily keep coming back and trying other menu items.

Do NOT eat sushi from here. The rolls have what look like ground fish in them. When I called the restaurant after getting my take out order home to ask why it looked like ground fish the manager refused to make it right and the owner and sushi chef refused to talk to me about what the fish looked like.

Food was good, but small portions for the price. Very slow service, but they were very short handed. It was fun to sit at the hibachi table and enjoy the experience. A bit smokey though. Would have been nice if we could make reservations. Fried rice, with veggies, steak, and shrimp were quite good. Did not get our miso soup and drinks didn’t come until half way through the meal, but waitress was very apologetic.

We went to Kobe’s for the first time in Great Falls. We figured this location would be the same quality and we couldn’t have been more wrong. My chicken was under cooked. The shrimp still had the tails on it and was overcooked. The fried rice was the weirdest and grossest thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve never had fried rice like that. The steak came out cold like it’s been there waiting for 30 minutes. The wait was ridiculous for how not busy they were. We will not be back. At least at this location. Absolutely disgusting. Our waitress wasn’t even friendly or nice to us in any way. All around bad experience.

We ate there for the first time and it was amazing. The open grill was so fun to watch. The fillet was tender and the salmon was cooked perfectly. We also had the spider rolls from the sushi section of the menu and thay were filled with bursts of flavor. I normally dont do spicey but it had just enough heat to balance out the sweetness. We will be making this a regular dinner stop!
