First time trying Kobe today for lunch. Won’t be the last. Very nice atmosphere, clean restaurant. Convenient location near the mall. We ordered hot and cold sake while we perused the extensive menu. The restaurant is divided into the hibachi area and the regular restaurant. We decided to order a few rolls after eating our salad (crunchy with plenty of ginger dressing) and miso soup. We shared the Manhattan roll and Incredible roll and both were beautifully presented and delicious. We’ll definitely go back. There were so many rolls to choose from, not to mention several Thai dishes, hand rolls, and sashimi. Everything was fresh and so yummy! So happy that we finally tried Kobe. Highly recommend.

The food was great, the cook was engaging and funny. The waitress did good although I asked for a mildly spiced cocktail that was so spicy I couldn’t drink it. I asked if she had told the bartender that I wanted it not real spicy and she just said yes and dismissed the fact that I said it was really hot! Another guest on our party that likes spicy food traded drinks with me and he couldn’t drink it either.

This place is just amazing. I grew up going to Makotos in Florida. Since then, the Chefs are more interactive. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is traditional, and you get share laughts and excitement at the hibachi tables.

Arrived @430 for a 430 reservation. Seated promptly. It Took until 5:15 to take our order. Staff were friendly, but forgot about 1/3 of our party when it came to ordering apps / drinks. Our meals were cooked on 2 separate hibachi tables so we didn’t eat at same time.
