Kobi Japanese Steakhouse is an outstanding place to come together with friends or family to celebrate special occasions! I recommend that you make reservations but it is not necessary. The Wait Staff are friendly and they help you with ordering off the menu. We were seated within 15 minutes and beverages were brought out right way. The appetizers were good. The Chef was very entertaining! My favorite was the steak and schrimp stir-fry. I liked this place very much. 6 Stars

My daughter was craving hibachi for dinner last night so we decided to come to Kobé since it was close & neither of us had been here in a while. The hostess was really nice & we were initially told it would be about a 35 minute wait, in actuality we waited a little over 10 minutes before we were seated which was fantastic!

The server & the chef were both great & we both really enjoyed our time. The server made sure we had everything we needed before the chef came out, & the chef was very entertaining during the whole experience. I got a beer & a glass of plum wine & my daughter got one of the boba drinks. The onion soup & the house salad tasted great, I also got the Tuna Tataki as an appetizer. The tuna was fresh & the seaweed salad underneath paired great with the sauce, definitely going to get that again. For our main courses I did the sirloin & teriyaki chicken, & my daughter did the sirloin & shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly & the chef did not skimp on the portions, we had plenty leftover to bring home afterwards.

Great experience, really fun. Our waitress was great and so was our chef. Entertaining and funny. Would recommend this place for special occasions, we ordered take out once too which was good but in person is better. Expect to pay roughly $50+ per person .. even if you only get entrees no drink or apps , you’ll still be around $30+ depending what you get. Worth it tho, I thought it was good. First time expierence for me and would go back.

WOW — absolutely incredible experience! Tyler and MoMo were beyond amazing and delivered truly top-tier, first-class service from start to finish. They were happy, friendly, and so attentive. Tyler went above and beyond—constantly refilling drinks, anticipating our needs, and even giving my toddler stickers to keep her entertained. That level of care meant so much to us and made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
The chef was OUTSTANDING—so energetic, enthusiastic, and incredibly entertaining! He had us laughing, engaged, and having an absolute blast the entire time. Every moment was fun, interactive, and memorable. This was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Huge shout-out to the entire team—we will absolutely be back!

Starting with the Host Kaila, we were terrible customers! We were late for our reservations and our entire party was not there. She was kind understanding and helpful, ( we didn’t deserve her kindness absolutely a great ambassador for the company and they were busy she was running but remained calm. Our chef Danny was amazing tricks I have never seen and can’t believe he pulled it off. He was outstanding and the food was perfect. Last but not least the salad dressing is amazing and should be sold on the way out the door every one in our party was like I wish could buy the dressing for home. You guys knocked it out of the park from the start to the end! Thanks

Went here with family on Sunday to celebrate a birthday and two “half birthdays”, an event for Kobe club members. A $25 discounted meal for three to enjoy. We actually had ten of our family present so basically a private table.

Just about 10 minute wait wasn’t bad. Not real busy at 12:30 on Sunday but got very busy after we arrived. We were seated and brought drinks and orders taken. Shortly after hot soups, basically broths, were brought and were great. Shortly after salads were brought. A few of us requested chopsticks, just to keep in practice. Admittedly a slower pace of eating.

Then our chef came and introduced himself, then went over our meal choices for verification. One grandson has an allergy to shellfish, so his and another grandson’s steak was separated from shrimp and scallops. The chef was very much a showman. Aside from the usual onion volcano, his drumming on grill caused the onion stack to smoke and move across the grill. Nice. Since our granddaughter was celebrating here 22nd birthday, he made a heart out of the fried rice.

Rice, then veggies, then noodles were served then our meats. Several had chicken, two had steak, two ordered shrimp and I alone got the scallops. All were delicious but my scallops were the top. Large and a lot of them. I did share a couple with my wife and still had a meal to bring home.

Dinner and a show! Great! A bit more expensive than our usual Sunday lunch but worth it for special occasions. Now whose birthday / anniversary is next?

I ordered the hibachi steak and politely requested it be served ‘very rare, the rarest possible.’ Unfortunately, it arrived medium-well, bordering on well done; once the meat sat for a moment, there was no pink left at all whatsoever. I would have said something, but by the time the steak was served, the grill was already off and I was part of a large group. Also, I hit print receipt for my order and the guy just walked away in a rush not realizing it. While I’d love to do hibachi again, I probably won’t return to this location unless I’m compensated somehow.
