⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magical New Year’s Eve at Kobé Japanese Steakhouse!
From the moment we parked, it was beautiful. The koi pond out front with its gentle waterfall, lush ferns, vibrant red-leaved plants, peaceful seated Buddha statue meditating on the rocks, and glowing red lanterns — Pure zen oasis vibes
The entrance doors with that bold red circle welcome pulled us right in — so inviting!
Angie greeted us with the warmest, most genuine smile; she made us feel like she was truly happy we’d come. The place was bright, welcoming, and full of good energy.
Our hibachi chefs, Teo and Onkyo, were incredible — the show Teo put on with the food was fun, masterful, and totally captivating! The rest of the staff kept drinks flowing perfectly; glasses never stayed empty long.
Along with the chefs’ delicious hibachi meal of chicken, steak, shrimp, vegetables, and rice, we ordered three delicious sushi rolls from the menu: the colorful Rainbow Roll, the fiery Spicy Volcano Roll, and a fresh Salmon Roll — everything was so tasty and perfectly made. Me, my daughter Krystle, and my granddaughter Mila soaked up every joyful moment together.
An excellent evening all around — perfect for family celebrations or anyone craving that classic hibachi fun with great service and flavors. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back.

If I could rate this over 5 stars I would…leaving hungry isn’t an option! Starting with delicious soup and a salad, then having rice AND noodles, with veggies and whatever protein if you choose. The chef was fun to watch and the food came out amazing! I left full and still brought enough home for another meal!

Not only can guests count on a great meal, they can also expect a show to boot. The special atmosphere adds to the pleasure, and it’s an ideal place to celebrate. Our group was honoring December birthdays, and everyone had a wonderful experience. The table in front of us shared pictures and song. One of their celebrants had a magnificent voice.
Portions were generous, so my hubby also had a meal with my leftovers, which delighted him, since he also has a December birthday but didn’t feel like meeting us there. The only negative was how cold it was in the restaurant. Only two friends ordered a tasty cocktail, while the rest of us had hot tea.

I love this Kobe and make the trip past others just to come here. The atmosphere and set up is the best and the staff is incredible. This is the second time we had Frank as our chef and he is a treat. Always making it an enjoyable and a fun time. Jeanie is always there to make sure your drink never goes empty, I drink quite a bit just sweet tea but I go through about five glasses and I never waited for more. She also was great with recommendations for our meals as well giving us the low down.

Our experience here was unfortunately not the best. We were seated directly across from the AC vent, so while the chef was cooking, all of the smoke and heat continuously blew in our direction, making it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The server noticed, and when we brought it up again to ask what could be done, we were told there was nothing they could do. There was no empathy or attempt to accommodate us, which was disappointing.
Because we were seated to the right of the chef, we ended up receiving noticeably smaller portions. The chef was very generous with the first guests, to the point that by the time he reached us, he had run low. My husband’s rice portion actually ran out and had to be brought from elsewhere. As for vegetables, we received mostly onions while others received more of the vegetables. When there was extra food, it was offered back to the first guests rather than balancing out what we lacked.
We were celebrating Valentine’s Day, so this made what should have been a special evening difficult to fully enjoy. Overall, we left highly disappointed. If it was cheap, there would be no complaints but we spent over $100 for 2 plates of food.

I usually enjoy hibachi, but this place was really good. When you walk in, they have a fountain filled with Koi fish. The restaurant is lightly dimmed, but you can still see where you are going. They also have a separate bar area. It was 5 of us and we were seated right away. We didn’t choose the hibachi table, but our server was good and very attentive. We all ordered hibachi meals which typically are all the same. You choose chicken, shrimp, steak, scallops or lobster. The meals came with a delicious soup and a ginger salad. This was the 1st place I’ve been to where they served noodles AND fried rice, the carbs were carbing but they were very good. Everything was well seasoned. The apps were good too. I ordered the crab ragoon and they served it with some sort of sauce. Very tasty. Everything was good. It was a little chilly, so I ordered a hot sake to warm up the blood.

Onkyo was exceptional. He was so fun and treated us so well. It was our daughter’s birthday and he made it extra special. He was our cook a few years ago and he still the best. Obviously the food was delicious and the portions were huge. We had a few drinks at the bar while we waited for our table and the service was excellent. I do recommend to always make a reservation because it’s always packed, but it was definitely worth the wait. We were supposed to go somewhere else but since we entered the place they were rude and tried to divide us into two different tables and not even next or close to each other, so we decided to leave and go to Kobé and we definitely don’t regret our decision, Kobé never disappoint us.
