This place was good when it first opened but has went 100% down hill to the point we probably wont be back.
We got shrimp and “noodles”, and broccoli. The broccoli was burnt and/or old and the noodles were literally spaghetti noodles with no seasoning, they didn’t used to be like that. They did try and rectify the situation by giving us a new order, so that was good customer service but still spaghetti noodles?!?
I also got chicken and mixed veggies with rice. The rice was hard and undercooked, and the mixed veggies tasted like they were sitting for days. We used to like this place so much…..

Came in here to eat since El Cabo was filthy and haven’t tried it! Nice outdoor facade and seating area and when walking in it is spotless and clean inside! The staff was friendly and a guy who came in from outside even washed his hands. We ordered our food and sat down. The food was brought out and it was freshly made to order, had excellent flavor and was incredible! While sitting I noticed someone drop a straw wrapper and a staff member picked it up shortly after when she saw it! They keep it clean, are friendly and have a nice place here! We will be back! Loved it here!

Overall a good experience..Walnut Cove is a small place and they are fortunate to have Kobes..( The Hardees closed )..The entrees are from 10.50 to 24.50 ( The Kobe Special)..Their Sushi is high at over $ 10 a roll..But an enjoyable dining experience..Hope they make it..☆

My husband and I out the new place for dinner. It was quite busy, which was a good sign.
The staff is all friendly and they were doing a great job with keeping up with the orders.
We shared the Deep Fried Cove Roll and a combo meal of Teriyaki Steak and Shrimp with mixed vegetables and fried rice.
We will definitely be making this a regular spot.

We visited this restaurant on our motorcycle today. At the counter, we ordered two portions of sushi. My wife asked how long it would take, and they said 10 minutes. We also asked if they had anything hot to warm up with, but they said no. I simply replied “never mind” and we went to sit down and wait for our order.
After 25 minutes, our food still hadn’t arrived, so my wife went to ask about it. The staff told her they never prepared our order because I had said “never mind”. Apparently, they misunderstood, thinking I was canceling the order, when I only meant that it was okay that they didn’t have anything hot.
This level of service is unacceptable. The staff should clarify before making such assumptions instead of leaving customers waiting for nothing. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

First time trying Kobe. Been aiming to since it opened but haven’t came through town with an opportunity. Food is good. Restaurant is clean and a nice setting. Strictly a self serve restaurant. Of course at 1:30pm, it’s not crowded but have seen several take outs.

I am a Japanese food connoisseur in my own mind! Myself and two buddies had a job up in Danbury today. We left Winston and cut through Walnut cove. I saw the the name on the sign and told my buddies that we’d stop at Kobe’s on the way back. The place was clean and we received a warm greeting with a smile. I ordered shrimp and scallops hibachi. The food was fresh and yummy! I highly recommend this place!
