I was passing through Atoka on a work trip and saw this place. It really hit the spot for lunch. The atmosphere is simple, but the food was very good. I had the steak & shrimp. The mushrooms really stood out. So good! Service was outstanding. I’ll keep Kobe B Express in mind the next time I’m in the area.

Customer service was great! There were two employees that I saw. They both were super kind! I went with my son and boyfriend. I got the teriyaki salmon with broccoli, my boyfriend got the steak and scallops, my son got the jumbo shrimp with mushrooms. The food was not bad, but not great. The fried rice was not what I was hoping for, when I think of fried rice. The salmon was good and the jumbo shrimp was good. The steak and scallops I wasn’t impressed. My boyfriend and son ordered the egg drop soup to start with, my son didn’t like it, I thought it was alright so I finished his. All together for 3 meals and two egg drop soups the bill was $67. I thought it was a little over priced.

Food was pretty good, the sweet carrots were a little strange but not offensive. Would have liked to see more vegetables on the teriyaki steak and chicken, but the flavor was great and meat was tender enough. We tried to call in our order but no one answered the phone; when we stopped by 15 minutes later the host told us they were full then and couldn’t answer (even though it was empty when we got there, but it may have been full then). Like others I agree the place is in need of some renovation to be more appealing.
