This food almost didn’t make it home, smelled so good while it was cooking. On the way home. Ordered steak and shrimp, pork chops Mac and cheese,yams,greens. I see why it’s called knockout, after you eat it you going too get sleepy. Flavorful eats, highly recommend. Glad we found there spot. The owner is super nice and Poe is a great cook. Took a picture before I dug in too much. The cornbread muffin is uniquely made, so delicious!!

Friendly atmosphere, food was excellent, served hot. My collared greens taste better than my grand ma ( just don’t tell her that), the yams incredible. Mac n cheese fresh batch out the oven, I can believe ppl don’t know about this place. Would have took pictures but I eat everything . Next time I’m taking pictures. I recommend the barbecue jerk wings collard greens too.

I keep meaning to take a picture of my food to share in a review, but I only remember after I’ve devoured said food!
Here’s my review, without picture to prove it!
Food- EXCELLENT!! So far I’ve had the Fried Fish and chicken wings (both fried to perfection). I’ve also had the macaroni & cheese, collard greens and, although I had to steal some from my sisters plate, the candy yams … all worthy to be served as a “Sunday home cooked meal” DELICIOUS!!
Service – EXCELLENT – I’ve gone to this location 3 times within the last 3. months and I’m always greeted with a smile!! Very friendly.
Cost – On par with similar restaurants in the Bpt areas.. not bad at all… plus the value for what you receive is well worth it.
Atmosphere – I have only ordered take out, but the place itself is always clean, with a good space for sit down.
I plan to use Knock Out for a small gathering I’ll be having soon and cant wait for my friends to try it to!
Overall, I will say that I enjoy the food and the experience. TIP:

This is some of the best soul food i’ve had in the tri-state. My boyfriend and i have been on quiete the soul food food tour and K &O is on the top of the list. The whiting was cooked and season perfectly . The collards greens were delicious !!!!!!! wouldn’t have changed one thing . we also had the shrimp with sweet chili sauce it was smackinggggggg ! The service was excellent, felt like we were home for lunch with the family. This place should be packed out the door !!!!!! go get you some food . The name K and O is because you will need a nap after this meal .

I was craving soul food and thought I’d support this local soul food spot. Unfortunately I was never able to enjoy my meal but the restaurant was able to process my order, take my money, then have the audacity to tell me my order was ready for pickup. I attempted to pick it up but to no avail. The place was completely closed. When I tried to call twice, nobody answered. Will literally never try them again. Thanks for the terrible customer service.

Was in town for work and craving some mac and cheese. Absolutely raving over my whole meal! The fried shrimp and candied yams did not disappoint. Highly recommned.
