Knueven Creamery & Market is a fourth generation, small, family-owned farm and food producer in Northwest Ohio. Our cows—a mix of Guernseys, Jerseys, Shorthorn, and Holsteins—graze on our certified organic farmlands and provide us with the milk and cream to make our own butter, cheese, and ice creams using the best locally-sourced (when possible) ingredients. Our chickens enjoy foraging on those same lands. Milled organic grains and meals available. Find us at the Toledo Farmers Market and on our website.

We did the ice cream flights – 4 different scoops of ice cream. They were all pretty good – the chocolate brownue fudge was my favorite, then the maple pecan. Beautiful building, lovely displays, lots of local products for sale – really like how supportive this business is!

How can you rate this place anything but 5 stars! Lived in this area my entire life and just finally ate there tonight (5/23/25). Staff working tonight were incredibly professional and very friendly. The ice cream is the best ice cream in a 100 mile radius, I can guarantee that. We also got their flatbreads, pepperoni and cheeseburger. So light and fluffy and downright delicious. I’m pretty sure we will be frequent customers from here on out. The Knueven family knows what they are doing (side note: Jen was my clinical instructor from nursing school). Very satisfied!

This is one of our favorite destinations in northwest Ohio. The flatbread pizzas are delicious and the ice cream tastes like homemade! The flavors are wonderfully creative. We always end up purchasing bread, pickles, and other items from their shop. You can enjoy your food outside on their picnic tables overlooking the river, as there are no dine-in options. I highly recommend taking a scenic drive to enjoy their food and ice cream!!

We got a pint of blackberry swirl and were still looking for the swirl when we hit the bottom. There wasn’t even I tinge of berry flavor. The ice cream wasn’t smooth and left a residue in my mouth. I really wanted to love this place, because we pass by it all the time, unfortunately we won’t be back. I have no problem paying $8 for a pint of ice cream but it has to be really good ice cream.

The ice cream was excellent. I got a peppermint sundae, and it was delicious. My husband got a strawberry milkshake. A lot of places that sell milkshakes , serve runny milkshakes. Not here. We will be back. The two young ladies that were working there this afternoon were very polite.
