This pizza is excellent. I’m from both the LaSalle-Peru and the Chicago areas and am very picky about pizza. We live by Tanner’s Orchard and moved to the area about 10 years ago. Shortly after moving her we stopped here for pizza. I didn’t like it and was so disappointed since it’s on our way home from work and living in the country there aren’t any other options and we hadn’t stopped there since. We randomly decided to stop for a drink and appetizers this last Friday and were pleasantly surprised. We got the garlic knots and wings. The knots were really good. The order was plentiful and served with a garlic butter, marinara and cheese sauces. The wings were phenomenal. My husband gets wings everywhere and said one of the best ever. I like wings generally, but not a lover of them. I immediately tasted the smoked flavor. I had not read the description so I didn’t realize they were going to be smoked. So amazing and impressive. Great flavor and very tender. This is not a negative, but an option for improvement, but the wings could be a little crispier. They were actually crispy, but the only thing that kept them from being a 10/10 was this. Lastly, we ordered pizza through Grub Hub tonight. We got a sausage and pepperoni and a Hawaiian. As I said, amazing. Great toppings and flavor. With this, the only thing that kept it from being a 10/10 was the topping stopped more than an inch(2inches in some areas) from the edge of the crust…as Jeff Mauro says, “Crust to crust is a must” . Regardless, the pizza flavor was amazing and we will be back. So glad we gave it another try. Service when dining in was excellent. Everyone was kind and the bartender and staff were very friendly. Loved the music and atmosphere.

Stopped in for a drink, was intrigued by the “Quad city style” pizza and ordered one. Delicious and we are used to chicago style. Crisp durable crust that holds up well to the generous toppings and cheese. Loved the unique style of cutting into strips. Super friendly server/bartender working during our visit around lunchtime.

I ordered wings on Wednesday 12 piece asked for all flats didn’t receive all flats didn’t bother to tell me that they weren’t gonna be all flats or I would’ve changed my order or the salt and pepper flavor. That was the only thing that tasted good was a salt and pepper. The ranch was OK and the blue cheese dip was nasty.

I don’t know what’s happened at Knuckle’s Pizza, but lately it seems the staff just doesn’t care. The last time I tried to order take out online, it wasn’t accepting orders. When I called, the guy said their phones weren’t working well and he hung up on me. Tonight, again the online ordering said it was not accepting orders. I called and ordered. When I picked up and said the online ordering wasn’t working, they didn’t seem too concerned or inclined to check it. Our pizza was not what we ordered, except for the size. I’m about ready to try Domino’s. I really want this local restaurant to succeed, but with this kind of service it will be difficult.

Ordered online with specifics of Gluten-free grand slam and no cheese. Got home with pizza and it had cheese. They remade the pizza but when we picked it up it had no sausage…. it is a grand slam. The kids in the kitchen were laughing at us. The girl at the counter offered to have them remake it again, but the kids in the kitchen verbally said that will be the third time while laughing. We have food allergies that was inappropriate and it not our fault they cant read their orders. This was one of our safe places to eat. After this customer service I most likely won’t return.

Came in yesterday early afternoon with a party of 30 people. I was pretty positive that my company did not notify them that a 30 top would be showing up at 11am. The bartender (Megan I believe) handled everything extremely well considering she was the only working at the time. She waited on all 30 people literally by her self and didn’t miss a beat. It was impressive. Also the quality of food was excellent.
