Out of all the bars we visited while in town, this was the only one that felt hostile and downright rude. Every other place welcomed us with great service and friendly staff. Here? The bartenders made it clear we weren’t wanted.
They repeatedly ignored us, walked away while we were trying to order, and made zero effort to acknowledge us at the bar. The younger bartender even said—loudly and within earshot—that they “only like locals,” clearly directed at us. Unprofessional and petty.
When the older bartender finally deigned to speak, my friend asked a simple question: how much is a drink? As we had a feeling they would overcharge because we were not locals. Our question was WILDLY ignored. As they just looked at us and demanded us to show our IDs. So I asked again. Then we were met with a snide, sneering face, as though we’d committed some crime by asking the price. By simply existing. By wanting a drink. We were faced with and an attitude like we were inconveniencing them just by being there.
If this place wants to be a locals-only hangout, they should hang a sign on the door. Otherwise, treating out-of-town guests like garbage is a great way to kill your reputation. We’ll never be back to this establishment and we’ll be warning others to skip it, too.
For anyone reading this: do yourself a favor and walk one minute down the road to Three Sheets Bar and Grill. Yes, it’s small. But the staff are actually kind, the service is excellent, and the prices are beyond reasonable. They deserve your time, your money, and your presence. This place does not.

We love going here, food is always good, service is as well! Atmosphere on Sundays is AWESOME! Because they have a Steelers room in the back, 2 big tv’s, burger specials as well! Plus they have a p-touch game that my hubby n I love to play, he now beat my high score, plus they have good bands on Friday n Saturdays!

Classic quality dive bar. The soup (chicken wild rice) was A+. The beef sandwich was also fire. And this was at around 1:00 in the morning. These were the only options available and they were excellent even without considering that.

Great local bar that participates in fun events, and showcases live music on the weekends. The food is better than I’d expect for a bar to have. This is not your quiet escape, this is where things are happening so it is louder and full of energy.

Not a local, and still have enjoyed every time i have stopped in.
Food is good, bartenders are cool if you show some consideration and can joke around a bit.
Walleye is on point and the vibe feels pretty good.

First the food is always amazing! This place was packed on a Friday night and me and my husband came to eat dinner. There were no tables where you could see the live music. The owner came up to us to see how we were doing and we asked if by chance there were any tables available to eat. He said he would get one and a minute later he came back and said he had a table for us. Never been to a place where the service is great, the food is amazing and the owner is awesome. Highly recommend.
