The sandwiches were the perfect complex flavor combination. The chicken was diced breast meat which made the texture of the sandwich perfect. It also didn’t dry out like many chicken sandwiches do. The Mac was okay. I would have liked more of a flavor profile of sharper cheeses in the blend. Pass on the stuffed jalapenos! Highly recommend the sandwiches. Heads up, they only serve beer and wine.

Great staple to Grand Rapids! The lady at the bar that served us redefined working hard, and we greatly appreciated her service . If you do go at a busy time, plan on wait because it’s a very popular place and is worth the wait. I look forward to visiting again!

Had a craving for a burger so decided to pop in for lunch. I was not disappointed. One of the best burgers I’ve had in years! The patty was made in house and cooked to order. Just delicious. The fries are hand cut and well I ate them all as well. Needless to say I’m stuffed. Happy but stuffed. They have a nice selection of beers on tap to choose from as well. Stop in if you get a chance I’m pretty sure you’re going to enjoy your meal.

Very nice restaurant in a historic little town! Obviously popular with the locals–we walked in 10 minutes after they opened and the restaurant was half filled already. Interior decorations feels modern rustic. Clean all around.

This eatery has a bar area and a row of booths that are very cozy and private. Almost like a candle lit dining room. The food was very good. The side salad with ranch exceeded my expectations. The burgers are 7 oz. Very tasty. We were well taken care of. Be sure not to miss this!

If I could leave zero star for service, I would. We came here after a lovely experience at the canal boat ride thinking we would support local and eat in the cute town. How wrong we were to consider this. It was Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm and were told they couldn’t serve us even though there were plenty of empty booths. We had a total of 9 people in our group, 4 adults, 2 senior citizens, and 3 toddlers. We all planned to eat with our own families at separate tables and pay separately. The waitress said the group was too big. We asked if we had came in separately and you didn’t know we were together, would each family have been seated? The waitress said yes. We asked if we could just do that and she said no because they saw our faces. WHAT?!? The main issue I have with this treatment is of my father in law who was with us, never mind the 3 thirsty and hungry children. We had to help him inside this establishment because there wasn’t room for his wheelchair. He was hunched over because he cannot stand on his own and there was no place for him to sit down inside the door. Both my husband and my mother in law were physically holding him up. You would think staff would have offered a chair for him. Nope. Instead, we were immediately told to leave which was shocking to say the least. There is no food or drink allowed on the canal boat ride, which I understand and it is also advertised. But to refuse service in a town that has the food and drink your tourists are looking for is beyond ridiculous. Especially when it involves an elderly man who you can see is physically struggling stand, not to mention 3 children…..what kind of message are you trying to convey to your tourists and potential customers? Please do everyone a favor and start advertising that you refuse service to parties over 4 so tourist/visitors can plan their trips to your town accordingly. I will be supporting local in other towns who value their tourists and the money they bring in, obviously you don’t need it.

We had a great experience today. We got the sampler platter, popper burger, and Buffalo mac & cheese. The food was done to perfection and delicious. Michelle our server was friendly and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal.

Brought a group of motorcyclist from our church to eat. I called the day before and they saved us a nice table. Great service. Great food. My wife got the pork chop and it looked like an expensive steak house piece of meat. All the food was good. We will be back
