The restaurant is laid out in a very “laid back” manner with lounge booths and such. We were sat near a fireplace, which added a nice ambiance, but unfortunately made our night a bit too warm and stuffy. Additionally, the live music that was a tad too loud and made it difficult to hold a conversation.

We visited Knoxies years ago and were unimpressed. We decided to give it another try. What a difference. We had great service from the time we arrived until we left. Pleasant atmosphere. We had the butchers board and it was amazing. We were a small party of 5 and there was plenty for all. We also had the crusted tuna as an app and that was great. For dinner- crab cakes, NY strip, sea bass, and the chicken pasta. All were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. Our server Ashley was very personable and attentive.

Knoxie’s is a great place to have dinner. The atmosphere was civilized and high end. The service (our server was Cher) was first rate. She was attentive but not bothersome and showed concern about our appetizers and meal being perfect. The time between the appetizers and meal was timely. If we were to have one complaint (minor) would be the time it took for the appetizers to arrive. But, there were large parties and we understood. We ordered drinks from a large drink menu where I ordered gin and tonic and my wife had wine. I picked my gin, which was a nice personalization and a detail which I appreciated. We ordered crab dip and muscles for appetizers which were tasty. We had the filet and seared rock fish. Perfectly cooked filet and I have not had a better prepared rock fish. The portion size was just right. We will certainly be back as Knoxie’s is the best game in town. We look forward to the deserts next time, but full from the meal. We highly recommend.

I’ve heard so much about this place we had to try it out and we were not disappointed! The food was good and the service was top notch. There were several large parties of 6-12 tables scattered around the restaurant which means it’s got to be that good that families and friends would choose to gather and eat here. That says a lot in itself. Doesn’t it? The outdoor bar and several fire pits were nice an added plus to the time we spent here.

Super cute place. I love the decor and it feels cozy inside. The drinks were great, decent wine selection. My food was all amazing too. I got the beet salad (although wish it came with more beets), ahi tuna app, sea bass entree, and the smith island cake. I would absolutely come back to try more of their selections!

My husband and I went here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The atmosphere was wondering with great staff. We had a 7pm reservation and we were taken straight to our table. The waitress was amazing and helpful with great suggestions. Everything was delectable from the drinks, appetizers, entrees and our dessert. We are staying at The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach and this is an absolute must if you are staying in the area.

I came to this place for the first time 8/28 for dinner and had the single crab cake, not as good as expected which came with mashed potatoes, they were flavorful and green beans and carrots that were cold along with a delicious fig salad. Told server about the cold vegetables but she didn’t care and didn’t bother to mention it to a manager who never bothered to stop by my table so needless to say I was not impressed at all with this place and I WILL NOT BE BACK

Our meal was fantastic! We are staying in the hotel and made plans to dine here two nights in a row. So glad we did! The special of soft shell crab appetizer and tuna poke were really fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend the crab cakes too. They also have a fantastic wine menu and creative cocktails. Can’t wait to go back again!
