My job has placed three group orders and I’ve placed one solo order. First order I got a sub, the meat looked very old. The second order I got vodka pasta with shrimp, the shrimp were not cleaned/deveined, and the pasta was so overcooked that it fell apart at the touch of the fork. Third order I got a burger, it was surprisingly good. Last order was a burger, it tasted absolutely disgusting, after lifting the bun there was old moldy vegetables. Order at your own risk!

Besides the boxes in the front the atmosphere was perfect for a late night pizza craving. I was greeted and treated. As for the pizza it was a touch of Jersey Love. I got the chicken/bacon and ranch. When I tell you….Bay•Bee it taste as amazing as it looked.

Visited at lunchtime on 7/22/25 and enjoyed a typical Easton Ave pizza slum experience. The pasta slice probably tastes better at 3AM. It’s been a minute since I was a student, so I’m not sure if this place has innovated the “knights taco,” which is any fat sandwich wrapped in a slice of pizza, or if they are just following suit. Either way, I’m in favor of the development. #YouWannaPizzaMe?

I had the Spicy Lover, it was so delicious, Rutgers to me is known for the Fat Sandwiches. Gotta love Jerz for this reason because I’m from the Midwest. They always have unique names for sandwiches that are packed with greasy unhealthy meat and fries for college goers to get full for a nice price. I’m going to be back so toned in.

Decent taste of halal platters however the rice was not even cooked it is served with choice of coke or water. Ordered wrap but it tasted just ok. Preferably you should order online or via call ahead of your visit as parking is difficult at the near by spots.

Knights Express is a small pizzeria on Easton Avenue closer to Tacoria, Paulie’s Pizza and what was the NJ Book Store. Parking at this establishment isn’t very convenient, as it is street parking and Easton Ave at this section is usually very busy. The interior itself has a decent amount of room for sitting at normal sized tables, which have the Rutgers Knight carved into them (a nice touch). There is a very good drink selection and another positive for this pizzeria is that it’s open earlier than nearly every other pizzeria on Easton Avenue. You can purchase breakfast at this pizzeria if you wanted, which is a nice convenience. There’s also an ATM inside.

The plain slice was run-of-the mill. Nothing too special about this slice, but it wasn’t bad. The crust was fluffy and the slice had a salty taste to it. It wasn’t overly greasy and the cheese tasted fresh enough. The sauce was on the sweeter side, but still pretty good. Like many pizzerias in this area, it would have been better to have more sauce on it. The Chicken Bacon Ranch slice was extremely filling, but not overly amazing. It was greasier than the plain slice on account for the 50% more cheese they put on it. The amount of ranch to cheese was fair, but the bacon wasn’t crispy enough for my liking. It wasn’t bad, but I thought that if the bacon were crispier, it would have made for a better slice.

If NYC $0.99 pizza and Jersey shore pizza had a red head baby it would be Knights Express Pizza. Size and price resembles Jersey shore slice but dough consistency down to weird bottom pattern is NYC budget slice. Guy behind counter was nice but a place is run down and filled with clutter. If you are out drinking all night…maybe but not for any other occasion.

Do not order Italian from middle eastern grills. Idk why they even offer it if they sell other food that tastes good. Every time I get pizza or pasta from a middle eastern place it has NO taste. They use inferior ingredients, especially for tomato sauce. When there are only three ingredients (tomato, cheese, flour) you cant take short cuts
