I had a truly truly disappointing and devastating experience at Knife while celebrating a friend’s birthday. We planned a girls’ night and were excited to enjoy the evening together. Upon arrival, 8:00pm, we were seated and initially, three of us were waiting for two more guests. Our waiter came over, promised to bring water, and took our order shortly after one additional friend arrived.
However, the menu we received didn’t match what was advertised online. When we asked about it, the waiter said he was unsure why that was the case but assured us we could order from the online menu. After placing our orders, we waited around 20 minutes for our drinks. By then, our last guest had arrived, and he took her order as well, including a “well done ribeye.”
Things continued to go downhill from there. The waiter brought out three plates for our table, including the ribeye, which was not cooked as requested—she had to send it back. Meanwhile, two of us were still waiting for our meals. We noticed as the three of us finished eating that the other two dishes were still not served. When we asked the waiter about it, he told us they were “working on it.” After another 20 minutes, we inquired again, and he simply said he would check.
Frustrated, we requested that our meals be packed to go. A different staff member eventually brought our food out, and we were left to box it ourselves. To make matters worse, when the birthday girl asked for her surprise cake, she never got to see as a whole cake, we waited 25 minutes only to receive slices instead of a whole cake. The waiter had cut half of it, and there was no celebration—no song, no pictures, nothing to make the moment special.
The manager initially dismissed our concerns as a misunderstanding, but another manager confirmed that they had a standard protocol for handling birthday cakes. This experience was disappointing and left us feeling that the special occasion was completely ruined. We didn’t leave until 11:15pm!

I celebrated my birthday at Knife, and it was everything I wanted and more. From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the vibe — stylish, energetic, and perfect for a night out. The music was on point all night, the food was absolutely delicious, and the hookah was top-tier. It felt like the kind of place where you lose track of time because you’re genuinely having such a great time. Perfect for celebrations or just a fun night with friends. Atmosphere ✔️Music ✔️ service ✔️ I truly enjoyed myself here, the food was good, I ordered calamari, and lamb shank entree (lamb shank was really tender and seasoned) also the steak but to me it was not seasoned. The wait staff is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable on the menu, very attentive and friendly as well handle our every need. Drinks were good as well and in reasonably priced. This place can accommodate so many people with great vibes tons of space coming here on a Friday or Saturday is definitely a vibe.

My date traveled from Guatemala to surprise me for my birthday . Let’s just say, the whole night was memorable. Our waitress was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive to us. She and my date even sang to me happy birthday . The atmosphere was so inviting. The playlist was on point. My date and I were able to have a conversation without the music drowning our voices out. The food was cooked to prefection. There were a few other December birthdays in building. He did EXCELLENT finding this hidden gem. I recommend for couples. Knife, you all get 5

The waiters could’ve been a bit more enthusiastic about the bday song lol but it was still cool with the light up sign and my friends sang for me. Oh my God! this place is absolutely stunning. The ambience is refined, grown, and sexy pure luxury from the moment you walk in. It was everything I needed to celebrate my birthday properly.
The appetizers and entrées were exquisite, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Every detail felt intentional. The addition of hookah was the perfect elevated touch that truly set the experience apart.

I chose Knife Modern Mediterranean for my birthday dinner with my husband, and I couldn’t have made a better decision!
Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly valet staff who efficiently handled our car for a $20 fee. The welcoming atmosphere continued as two bubbly hostesses made us feel right at home. Although we had reservations, we opted to sit at the bar, where Kenisha warmly welcomed us and started us off with Benedetto Still Water.
As per tradition, my husband ordered his Orange and Mint hookah while I went for the Mint flavor. For appetizers, we shared the Hummus la Carte and Fried Brussels Sprouts, both of which were absolutely delicious!
For dinner, we decided to share a plate of Riviera Pasta, adding shrimp since we were already feeling quite full from the appetizers. My husband sipped on Don Julio Reposado, and I initially ordered a Peach Fizz but later switched to a Lemon Drop Martini, which was fantastic. The combination of food, drinks, and attentive service was so enjoyable that we invited my sister-in-law to join us. She ordered her Vanilla and Love 66 hookah along with a Lychee drink.
To top off the evening, I indulged in the Chocolate Lava Cake, and the staff kindly surprised me with a cheesecake as well, which was a thoughtful touch.
A heartfelt thank you to Kenisha and the male bartender (whose name I unfortunately can’t recall) for making the night so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
