Overall experience started strong, but service fell short.
This was my first time eating at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe. My first impression was very positive. The quality of the food and the bread was excellent, and the meal itself was very enjoyable. The kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing.
Unfortunately, the current staff, including the cook, the person taking the order, and the individual who brought out the food, came across as unprofessional and not particularly polite. That significantly impacted the overall experience and atmosphere.
Because of the service, I’m rating this visit 3 stars. Otherwise, based on food quality alone, this easily would have been a 5-star experience.

I was so disappointed when the Kneaders near me in Avondale closed down permanently. Since I absolutely love Kneaders, I drove up to this location in Glendale. It was definitely worth the drive! Kneaders always provides wonderful food, the employees are always so kind and helpful, the restaurant itself is always clean and welcoming. I absolutely love Kneaders.

Oh my God I lived in the area for so long and never tried kneaders. There is a bakery inside and let me tell you this place is extremely affordable. They made it a cute little comfy seating area with a fireplace that actually works. It’s always clean inside, and the food is so much better than any Denny’s or even cracker barrel. You must try their French toast. There’s not a ton of options but they definitely have enough for everyone’s liking. Make sure to check out the homemade bread section.

The staff is always super friendly and the bakery has fresh items fair prices cute decor and unique gifts that are easy to pick up. I stop by weekly for sourdough and hazelnut bread because their pastries are hard to resist and the pumpkin pie has great flavor.

This place is very familiar to Panera Bread. Although I like Panera Bread better, this place still hits the spot. The atmosphere is old fashioned and the service was good.
I also liked the Pesto Chicken sandwich. It had a peppery taste to it and the bread was very crunchy. The chips also had some Parmesan seasoning to it so I liked that. Overall, I don’t have strong feelings about this place.

Did a Uber eatz order a large one on a Saturday.. ordered the apple cider drink it was so bad tasting no apple only cinnamon.. it was a large order so some things only getting to try today.. but carrot cake, raspberry tart, raspberry bread pudding thing, grilled cheese sandwiches all tasted sooo bad even spoiled the carrot cake had what looks like mold ? On the inside its green. And the raspberry tart thing just tasted rancid. The sandwiches they use olive oil on the outside which doesn’t taste good in this manner all you taste is the oil and with a “fresh bread” they claim to be made in house and 3 cheeses you shouldn’t taste only the oil. First time trying it and will be the last.

Got up at 3am in Dallas to catch a flight to a Phoenix. My first stop after the toilets and the rental car was this place! I thank my lucky stars that the folks at Kneaders live the organization’s mission, vision and values. Good food, good company.

One star truly because of the man working the drive through, but most importantly, Savannah who claims to be the manager. Heads up to Joe, if this is your manager, she needs to go, immediately.
Just placed a $30-40 order with item missing, called to get refunded. Was immediately spoken over and down to by a woman named Savannah who again, claimed to be the manager which I truly find hard to believe. Told me if I wanted to speak to whoever was above her, again, I just wanted a refund or replacement for the items that were missing, I needed to ‘come in at 5am for Joe who would be there at 7am’?? Didn’t realize you guys opened at 5am. Again, this is all over missing items.
So sad, this could have been handled so much better with just a little maturity that clearly miss. Savannah lacks. loved this place before but after that service, we will most definitely not be back.
Oh would also like to add- before actually providing her resolution, she talked over me into the phone and hung up on me. Top tier customer service lol
