We just had our wedding catered Feb 7th by knead the dough, and I can say it was not very a good experience at all. Their pricing was fair, no real complaints there. But the communication and service as a whole was terrible. The owner was friendly over email text & phone calls. Though it was difficult 9 times out of ten to get a response from them. But i understand people get busy. She calls me a few days before our wedding day to get a rundown of when dinner will be and to get our game plan. We also had our wedding cake made through them as well, so I asked her during our phone call if I could have them cut and serve the cake to our guests as well, she said I would need to pay for it, which was $25 and I agreed and added it to the check that was made out to them and given on the wedding day. So the wedding day comes & they are late with our food, they pull in right as our dj was announcing us. Mind you their shop is about 3 minutes down the road from where we got married. There were no warmers for the food so everyone’s food was cold, we had pastas and nobody had freshly warmed food. It didn’t taste bad, but it was not warm at all. Then it comes time for cake and it was not yet cut or set out. So I asked my MIL if she could see what was going on, she let her know she was the mother of the groom and was trying to get this sorted out for us, the owner then told her “I don’t really care who you are” my mother in law then asked if they were going to serve it for us and they told her no that they weren’t paid for that. This was before they even got paid so we do have proof that we did infact pay them to cut and serve our cake and that they did no do that, and no money was ever offered back to us. So my mother in law her sister and 2 grandmothers went and cut and serviced our cake while they set back and did nothing. We had multiple guests tell us that they were not very friendly. Overall I am not happy at all with how this experience was. It was not professional, & to be quite honest I feel like money was wasted. Just based off of our experience I would not recommend Knead the dough at all for wedding catering. Again the food and cake did not taste bad. Just very unorganized, rude, unprofessional & poor communication.

On our egg deliveries my dog Jack and I stop here most weeks to get our shared frosting stuffed sugar cookie. It’s his payment for being my delivery companion. They make a fabulous ding dong cake and lots of other goodies too.

Knead the Dough Bakery made the most delicious cake pops for my daughter’s wedding! They were not only a hit with our guests but also beautifully decorated in her wedding colors, adding the perfect touch to our dessert table. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation was spot-on. We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our special day. Highly recommend them for any event!

This is a great place to stop in, have coffee, have one or several fresh backed treats, and take some home. You can also order custom cookies and cakes! I have ordered custom cookies 3 times now, they are amazing. Lori and her crew are alway great to work with!

We ordered hand pies, a ding ding cake & a no bake banana split dessert for Thanksgiving & they were all phenomenal. I couldn’t pick a favorite because they were equally outstanding. Highly highly recommend

Awesome bakery, their donuts are so good! They make all kinds of awesome deserts here at a fair price.
I don’t recommend getting coffee here, though. I got a mocha, and it was essentially just hot water with chocolate in it, not very good. They literally have kids running their coffee counter, so im not really surprised with the quality honestly.

Scones are on point! It’s hard to find traditional scones in Indiana. These were great. Only sugar was on the outside. Nice biscuit texture and amazing flavor. Their pastry chefs are great. They had lots of other goodies for sugar fiens. The lattes were good. They have non-dairy milk options. Cute displays and fun stuff to buy. Recommend a stop here. Says they’re not open Sundays, but they were when we went through town.

My husband ordered my birthday cake a week in advance from here. Day of shows up … nothing. What horrible service! Nothing done to make it right. They offered 10 bucks off another order the day of to make it right?! Never again will we trust this place. Their lack of internal communication is horrible.
