This place is Amazing!! I have lived in Albuquerque my whole life, but my Grandma lives in New Orleans. I have not been able to find anything that comes close to New Orleans food. This place made me feel like I was back in New Orleans with my Grandma!!

All these 1 star reviews are wrong they might have had a bad experience but I recommend they try again decent prices and got a good bit of food the only reason it isn’t a 5 star in my opinion only was the catfish could have used a tiny bit more spice that’s all it’s still very good. Not disappointed at all. I will definitely be back.

Stopped here for the 1st time because we were in the mood for some Cajun food. Located in Rio Ranco in a shopping mall at 1st we couldn’t find it but it’s located on the north side of the strip mall. It’s a small place with around 5 to 6 tables. You have to order at the register even if you’re dining in, then you can have a seat. Lady at the front was very nice and when asked about what certain dishes on the menu contained she was very knowledgeable. We asked for recommendations and we ended up taking one. We ordered the catfish basket with Mac n Cheese and the Creole shrimp. The catfish was very good and the Mac n Cheese was awesome…very creamy. The creole shrimp was served on a bed of rice with toast. The flavor and heat was just what I was craving. It was spicy but not too spicy. We ended up ordering a slice of sweet potato pie and we definitely enjoyed that. We were too stuffed to try the coconut cake but it looked amazing and the people that were eating it next to us verified it. I would recommend giving this place a try. We will definitely go back, and next time coconut cake is on my list. If you read my review, please hit the like button. Thank you!

We found this one place while visiting Albuquerque. Over all it was to bad, I’ve lived in the south the last 25 years and this place reminded me of home. The only complaint I have is the seafood was frozen. But I was in the middle of the desert so I’m not sure what I was expecting… The red beans and rice was probably the best I’ve ever had!

Came here to grab a quick midday snack. We got something simple to try out (i typically eat more creole food being that my family is from nola) and everything tasted good along with their homemade cajun remoulade that went perfectly with our meals. Service was timely and friendly. I would give this place another chance to try other items off the menu.

This place is creole at best not Cajun. We were told the food would be similar but not exactly the same as back home. It lacked a lot of flavor. The shrimp on the pi-boy were dry and chewy overcooked. The fried okra was cooked well, but didn’t have very much flavor neither did the fries. The seasoning really needs to be stepped up to be a Cajun type restaurant

The food was good. Portions were super small for the price, paid over 35 bucks for two, and left hungry

I have found my comfort food! The flavors are spot on. Perfect breading on the fish, gator and shrimps. Oddly the coleslaw hit just the perfect spot. I even told them, I felt like I was back home at the church social. This is one, very happy southern lady. Thank y’all so much for bring a bit of home to us here.

Update: Been coming here for 4 years since moving here. Never disappointed. Catfish is lit, red beans & rice delish, Po boys like I was back in NOLA. Hours of operation are limited since the pandemic but well worth hitting them up when you can.
