My wife and I visited Kluge’s Rucken Fidiculous BBQ on September 4, 2025, around 2pm. We had never been here before, but a friend gave us a gift card, so we figured it was the perfect excuse to check it out.
At first, we were a little confused—this place looks like an old run-down gas station from the outside. I’ve driven past it countless times without realizing there was BBQ inside. But once we stepped in, the owner greeted us personally and let us pick our seats. He explained that the theme was a true backyard cookout vibe—laid-back, homecooked, with bottled and canned drinks just like you’d grab at a friend’s BBQ.
The owner walked us through the menu and said every portion was hearty. He recommended the ribs, though I was torn between those and the pulled pork nachos. I ended up going with the smoked ribs (4 bones with 2 sides and a corn muffin) for $16—not a bad deal at all.
The ribs came out meaty, tender, and coated in a tangy sauce with just the right touch of spice. Definitely loaded with meat, and I’d rate them an 8/10 overall. For sides, I chose the Rucken Good Beans and potato salad. The beans leaned toward a mustard base with a little heat—unique but tasty. The corn muffin came with a choice of original or cheddar jalapeño. I tried the cheddar jalapeño, which was good, though the jalapeños could’ve been diced smaller for more even flavor. Still, my plate hit the spot and I’d order it again.
Now, my wife’s order was the star of the show: the pulled pork sandwich. This thing was massive—absolutely loaded with pork, more than she could finish. I tried part of it and instantly understood why she loved it. The sauce was perfect, the pork was tender and plentiful, and the portion size for the price was insane. Honestly, I’d come back just for that sandwich.
Overall, this spot is a hidden gem. The food is generous and flavorful, the owner is down-to-earth, and the atmosphere really does feel like hanging out at a friend’s backyard BBQ. If you’re looking for a quick dinner date or just some solid BBQ at a fair price, I’d highly recommend giving this place a try. We’ll definitely be back!

Came in for dinner on a Sunday evening, and had a delicious meal! We ordered, and a few minutes later had our dinner! We had the tacos. I had pork tacos , with my fixings on the side. Everything was fresh & tasty! I love guacamole, and it didn’t disappoint! Also, the slaw had great flavor, and sour cream & jalapeños were the finishing touch! The portions are big, and reasonably priced! Omgosh! Yes please, to the banana pudding! Just try it, if you like banana pudding! And If you love great BBQ, you have to check this little gem out!

We ordered a baked potato bar for 35 people. Everything was wonderful! Big, piping hot, individually wrapped potatoes. Pulled pork and pulled chicken, along with all the toppings you could want, made for an abundant and delicious lunch. Topped off with individual servings of banana pudding with the perfect amount of cookies. We will absolutely order from Kluge’s again!

I found this establishment about 2 years ago and decided to write this review for future customers. I’m a creature of habit and purchase the same dish without waiver every time( 4 BBQ Ribs, Pineapple Coleslaw Slaw, Baked Beans and Cheddar Jalapeño Muffin)! They’re so delicious that although I relocated from the area, I choose to visit EVERY time I come to visit friends. Fed my friends and they had the same opinion and became customers themselves! The atmosphere is the worst part and still in great standings for a mom and pop establishment. I’m just not to fond of the location when it comes to it! It’s not in a bad area, just not the best in my opinion. The food remains phenomenal and constant! I enjoy that same flavorful recipe without disappointment since my first visit. The staff have ALWAYS been friendly, NEVER rude and makes me and my guests feel like we’re at a family gathering rather than a restaurant. I’ve had the pleasure to get to know Jessica, Heather, Julian and another person that I can’t remember their name from the back as associates rather than servers and cooks. I’d definitely recommend you enjoy the food for yourself and would look forward to your opinion in case I decide to try something new from an old place.

I ate here on 05/02/2025 with my wife and close friend. We all rather enjoyed the food and the people. Was mid day so atmosphere was not lively, but that’s ok. Portion sizes per $ were absolutely great and we ended up taking food home with us Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

This place is a must try. Their pulled pork Jumbo Baked Potato is crazy large and packed with flavor, the Beefbrisket Dinner w/ 2 sides and Corn Muffin is fantastic and the dill pickle is perfect as well as the Smoked Tuna Dip w/ Club Crackers has such great flavor. These people can definitely do BBQ. Their pulled pork BBQ sauce is perfectly sweet and the potato perfectly cooked. The corn muffin is southern greatness and the special baked beans are packed with flavor. Worth a shot and reasonably priced, especially for the amount of food.

The pulled pork sandwich with pineapple slaw is FANTASTIC! The perfect blend of sweet and salty and big too. The homemade banana pudding is delicious too. Very creamy and cloud like all at once. Highly recommend to anyone who wants great food and quality customer service!
