Let’s talk about Klom Klom Thai…..best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in Savannah in a long time. Their Thai food is amazing, the staff was wonderful, and absolutely everything we had was delicious.
We had the Fresh Basil Roll which was perfectly fresh and the peanut sauce is delicious. The Ka-Nah Moo Kron was crispy on the outside and the pork belly on the inside melted in your mouth. We also had the Pad Kee Mao with chicken and it was my best drunken noodles I’ve ever had.
I like really spicy and they made it so my mother could try my dish non spicy and they gave me all the add ins to customize it my way.
So in short…..do not sleep on going to this restaurant, it’s wonderful.

This was our second visit to Klom Klom Thai Restaurant in Savannah, and this time we came for lunch after having previously tried dinner. Overall, I’d say our first visit had slightly better food and service, but this experience was still decent.
The restaurant is small and located in a strip mall next to the Pancake House. Service was good considering there was only one waitress handling orders for the entire restaurant, with an assistant helping to clear tables.
My husband ordered the Tom Kha soup, and I ordered the Tom Yum, though we were both served Tom Kha by mistake. He also enjoyed his eggplant dish with fried tofu. My Sukiyaki Thai Haeng was just okay—not something I would order again, but the menu offers plenty of other dishes I’d be willing to return and try.
We were too full to order our favorite mango sticky rice for dessert, unfortunately. One thing worth noting: there is a 5% discount for paying with cash and a 3% credit card fee, which we weren’t informed about until after paying with a credit card (saw it on our receipt). Lunch for two was $64.
Overall, a solid neighborhood Thai spot with a wide variety of options, though there’s room for improvement.

Klom Klom has become a family staple. What started as a hopeful substitute for our old favorite restaurant in Knoxville, has become the new standard of Thai cuisine we seek and compare things too. Worth the drive and the time. Great food, healthy portions, ability to accommodate different spice tolerances, the works. Best niche restaurant in Savannah.

Tried the Go To Hell Beef and asked for Max heat.
Probably the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten in my life, but it was absolutely amazing. My server said it’s a top seller and I see why he said that now. Definitely will be on my list to get again.

Riya was the absolute epitome of warmth and welcoming kindness that I look for in every hospitality experience. I was not sure what I wanted and she confidently guided me through the menu and every single recommendation and description she gave me was absolutely perfect. The green curry was so delicious and is my new favorite meal! Thank you for amazing food and amazing service!!

I’m currently doing the Daniel’s Fast and this was the perfect place to accommodate. The food was delicious and fresh. All the servers are very friendly and professional. I had the curry tofu. It was so good I ordered it to go!

The owners are always welcoming and hospitable. I love their food most of the time—though sometimes it tastes a little like the mood of the chef. The Duck Chiang Mai Khao Soi is my go-to favourite, but I make sure the chef looks relaxed before I order so I don’t get disappointed.
This visit I enjoyed the Pahang Curry. Overall, it’s a quaint restaurant with good Thai food choices.

The Chicken Satay and Roti were really good. However, I wasn’t a fan of the Drunken Noodles. I asked for medium spicy, but it was way too spicy… Also, the chicken had a strong, unpleasant smell. Since I’m very sensitive to smells, it was hard for me to eat. The server was friendly but not very attentive. The restaurant has about ten tables inside, but it’s not very spacious. There’s also outdoor seating available.

It’s really hard to find authentic, tasty Thai food. The search is over for me. This place is amazing! My husband had a duck dish and I had the orange chicken. SO GOOD. Oh, you MUST get their Thai iced tea. It’s not overly sweet and they brew the tea themselves. The portion and taste is so worth the price you’re paying. Highly recommend this place! My little kids loved the food as well. The owners are very kind. We will definitely be eating here again!
