We stopped at KJ’s New North and it was such a great find! The kids were in heaven with the ice cream — lots of fun flavors and big scoops that kept them happy. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was fantastic, really fresh and flavorful. The place has a laid-back, welcoming vibe and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Perfect spot for families — we’ll definitely be back!

WOW!!!! Talk about the ultimate TRIFECTA! I am being 100% serious when I say this place had the BEST 1) customer service 2) sandwich 3) ice cream cone I’ve ever had! The sandwich was the tsunami Pastrami! And then the STAND OUT employee, Finley let me get FOUR half scoops on my 2 scoop waffle cone. It was a childhood and now adulthood dream come true. Each icecream flavor was top notch! We already are looking forward to coming back next year!

Luis catered my wedding over the weekend (around 150 people) and the food was INCREDIBLE! Luis did such a great job cooking and preparing the food and I got so many compliments. He even packed up all of the leftovers for me to take home and use during my gift opening the next morning. I would highly recommend him for all of your catering needs!

I have been to KJs and never had such a nasty experience. I ordered a hot fudge Sunday. Pretty simple. Well not for this owner. At what point does one MICROWAVE ICE CREAM. Yep. You read that right, they microwaved the ice cream to pour on top as they must have not had the adequate ingredients. When they handed me the cup I grabbed the top of the glass and it was hot. Since I wasn’t looking for melted ice cream in a cup, I just told them they could keep it. I had already paid so I knew I would be out that money, but again I didn’t want microwaved ice cream. Seeing as most of the hard ice creams were mostly gone and they couldn’t do soft serve, all they would have had to do was say they didn’t have the ingredients. The poor young girls working don’t have a clue what they are doing. It was sad to see how far this place has gone down hill.

Ordered online last night while we got together with family at the brewery across the street. I had the Tsunami Pastrami, added jalapeños to my sandwich. It was my first time, my brother highly recommended KJ’s. I was only able to eat 1/2 of the sandwich. It was delicious! Pastrami was yummy and tender! They made my root beer float when I picked up my food. This morning my husband and I shared my 2nd half of the sandwich! Still just as yummy if not better! Hopefully I’ll get to enjoy more of their food on our next trip back home!
